I bought this Munchkin Stair gate 6months ago for my son who is always running aroud. Its been very helpful to stop him going upstairs unattended. It does need any drill to fit in instead it closes with the pressure when tightened up or fixed from the sides on the stairs. so doesnt leave any marks on the walls. It comes in different sizes can be purchased according to the size you require. Its adjustable as per the size of the stairs. Easy to assemble without any tools it comes up with a tightening key so you dont need any tools as such. definitely loving it
