These bonito flakes are immensely flavourful and add so much depth to the dish you accompany them with. 10/10 would recommend.

Duo the very intense flavor, you will end using only a small proportion on your dishes. If you never make dashi it might be a lot for you.

I put it on my okonomiyaki. I love the way it dances before my eyes. Bonito flakes are made of tuna, to me, it tastes a bit like tuna paper. I mean that in the best way. I am looking forward to learning more recipes that involve bonito flakes.

My cat loves the taste an texture of the Yamahide Bonito flakes. He waits in the kitchen to receive them. I have also used them to make a fish soup stock which was very flavorful. They are so much more affordable then the cat version an with them being the exact same it’s a no brainer to use these instead.
