We loved this product. The hardest part was deciding what to make first. It is a Quiet machine during the process. So far we tried marshmallows and strawberries. Going to try beef jersey next. Highly recommend this dehydrator.

This dehydrator machine is an awesome addition to my kitchen. I love to cook and bake, and experiment with new cooking utensils/machines and ingredients. Not only do I love using this dehydrator for healthier snacks for my kids, but I have rabbits who LOVE the dried fruit and vegetables I have made. The only downside to this specific machine is how large it is, in a sense that it takes up a lot of counter space and/or storage space. Thankfully, I have a large kitchen, so this does not necessarily apply to me. I am in love with this machine! It’s so simple, fun, and the cookbook that comes with it is a handy tool.

I received Excalibur 10-Tray Select Series Digital Dehydrator, Stainless Steel Graphite free to try for my honest opinion. I have always loved dried fruits & beef jerky but never used a dehydrator before. I will never again buy these items store bought! The dehydrator comes with a booklet that includes detailed instructions for setup, trouble shooting guide, how to use, drying guides, storage information, year round dehydrating tips, recipes & much more. There are so many things that can be dehydrated that I didn’t even know about! This dehydrator has 10 trays, 1 poly screen & a crumb tray. It has Hyperwave Technology and which fluctuates temperature to dry surface moisture & move inner moisture to the dryer surface. It also produces Parallexx Horizontal Airflow which distributes air for fast & even dehydrating. It is really easy to use! Simply wash your trays, wash your food, load the food on the trays and place in the dehydrator, set time & temp and start. It dehydrates evenly and once finished you remove your food and store in an airtight container or bag. Cleanup is super easy! The trays are dishwasher safe but I prefer to hand wash mine. It does get very hot so I do not recommend small children being around this when it is in use. It also is fairly large so take that into account. It needs to be on a flat surface when in use. There is a space in between the French doors that I feel slows the drying process but again I am new to dehydrating my own foods so there could be a reason for this gap that I am not aware of. My first use I dehydrated apples, bananas, strawberries, oranges & lemons. It all came out perfect! My 2 year old loves banana chips but it is so much cheaper to buy fresh bananas and dehydrate them myself. I am most excited to make some beef jerky & also fruit rolls using yogurt! The digital recipes are amazing and I am looking forward to making many other recipes with this dehydrator. I definitely recommend!
