The flowers that come from 1-800-flowers are always fresh and beautifully arranged. They're always on time and I've never had a problem with them. I usually use them once a year for mothers day and occasionally to send a business flower gift to someone. They're affordable and for the price - they're amazingly great quality.
They forgot to send the balloon I requested. Although they did refund for it, I would have liked the recipient to have the whole bundle I ordered. In the past, I've had good luck using 1-800-Flowers. Obviously they send out to local florists to complete the orders but nonetheless, you expect everything to be sent out.
Recently my best friend gave birth to her first child. Unfortunately because of work i could not be there so I wanted to send her a gift. 1-800-Flowers had a great selection of flowers to choose from and even offered same day delivery. My friend was so grateful for the beautiful flowers I was able to send to her.
Flowers were very pretty, and arrived on time even though it was valentines day, and I'm sure their volume was quite high. I'm not in love with the idea of the flowers coming in a box instead of a bouquet, but I understand that they're a national company, and that level of craftsmanship only comes in local flower shops.
The arrangement delivered was similar in stature to the image on the website, however, not identical and a little disappointing. Overall, still very pretty, but upset with how late in the day the order arrived. I understand that is the responsibility of the local florist the arrangement was outsourced to.
My husband got me some flowers from here not too long ago and they were not in good shape. They only lasted a few days when the ones from the grocery store always last 1-2 weeks.
I have use their services before and it has been hit or miss. The first time everything was great the second time the person received the gift and everything was in a box despite, specifically requesting it be delivered in a vase. The flowers were fine, just takes away from the experience of receiving flowers.
Easy to shop online and find the right arrangement. I used 1800Flowers to order a floral arrangement for my wedding, it was beautiful with just the right balance of white and purple as I requested. I will order again whenever I need fresh flowers and the prices are much more affordable compared to other services I found.
I have used their service on many occasions for ex. Mothers Day, Birthdays, and even a random surprise. They definitely are worth it when you are States away from loved ones or even don't have time to run to the local flower shops. They partner with the local shops and help magical things happen. I love their service.
I had great experiences with 1800 flowers until recently. I attempted to send flowers to a friend and the flowers were never delivered to her. When I contacted them they offered me a credit and to resend both. I never received the credit and my friend didn't get the flowers. Now I just find a local florist to deliver.
Q & A
How are their deliveries? are they one time and fresh?
I've heard bad things about this company. Are they really that bad?
I have previously received flowers from 1800flowers and some of the flowers were wilted and I was missing a couple of roses from my two dozen. Really disappointed. Has anyone else experienced this?
I would like to know how long does this to to be delivered?
I am concerned when ordering fresh flowers online. Have many times when ordering and sending to another city....what you ordered and what the person received is quite different in style and quality....can't control. I prefer to go to a store, see the product and talk to a person.
