We purchased this when my son was about 3 months. Even before he was teething he liked looking at the colors but once he started teething this was his go-to. So much so that I went to get him a back up. They only had one with safari animals so I grabbed it.... he refused it. Something about the bug one, apparently.
Love! My son didn't like drastic movement so a traditional swing would have been a nightmare. This seat, however, rocks gently and has a great incline so you can adjust as you see fit. My son had reflux and went to work with me. I couldn't always hold him upright so this seat was an amazing option. ETA: We actually have two of these. I purchased one used while I was pregnant before being given a brand new one. I thought it was silly that the new one had blue tooth but I used it! I could change the settings without making baby think I was coming over to pick him up! The new one is also quieter but that could just pertain to my old one.
I didn't see the big deal when I received this as a gift. Then my son came. He LOVED this toy! He is a year and a half now and still has the piano part in his toy box. I'm part of a mommy group and all of our babies loved this. I don't think anyone said anything negative!
We purchased this seat in a different color. Pros: Easy install We felt our son was safe He seemed comfortable
Cons (kind of) I hated the sun canopy! It was so small and always got stuck. I would give less stars for this but I was in an accident and had to replace the seat. They no longer sold the one we had and the newer version had a much nicer canopy! It's now much more generous. I will say that we tried the keyfit air between and hated it. My son didn't fit well in it at all. The only other thing that I didn't like was the padding by his head. It just didn't fit right and pushed his head forward.
Sure there were some things I didn't like but I'd buy it again
We have so many books from the "That's not my..." series. My son LOVES them. He is a year and a half and he has loved them since we purchased them about a year ago. I love that they're educational and he loves that they're fun, it's a win win. We love all of our usborne books. We have "that's not my...," other touchy feely books, lift the flap books, muddle and match, shine a light books and even a wind up train book! You can't go wrong!
I. Love. Strollers. I don't know why but I've always liked them. I started buying strollers at 13 when I was babysitting my sisters and kept going! Let's say that was 20+ years ago so I have a lot to compare. When I was pregnant with my first we purchased the uppababy vista 2009 used. I loved it so much that when it broke (our fault) we upgraded to the 2017. Pros: Amazing sun canopy. Extends for pretty full coverage and the 2017 is adjustable height. Weather shields (bug and rain) Bassinet included Huge storage basket! Pretty sure it's the biggest I've used 2017 had a simple fold My son BEGS to be in the stroller even when his toddler counter parts cry to walk Steering is a dream Suspension for a smoother ride 2 year warranty (3 when you register your product) I could go on and on...
Cons: Bulky fold Pricey When using it for more than one child the bassinet cannot be put closest to parent The rumble seat is smaller than the toddler seat that comes with the stroller so often my future infant will be further away from me. For this reason we nearly purchased another stroller. The height of the seat doesn't accommodate a child very long considering the price point.
