This is honestly the worst eyeshadow palette I’ve ever tried, and I don’t understand the hype at all. The shadows are extremely hard to blend. I have tried different techniques, eye primers, even brushes to get this palette to work. Some of the names are misspelled on the back of the palette, and on mine the shades on the back do not match up with the ones in the palette. Honestly, just save your money for an Anastasia palette since this one is so up in price.
I loooove these. If I could buy all of them, I would. They look so nice on the eyelid as a shadow, and can even function into being an eyeliner. They’re so pigmented, but work really well and hardly ever crease. When I’m able to, I’ll definitely purchase more.
I’ve used this one and the pomegranate lip balm from Burt’s Bees. I love how smooth they are, and how long they last on the lips. They last a long time for me, and even though they’re pricey, they’re worth it.
At first, I was kind of nervous using such a thick cleanser/moisturizer on my face, because of my very acne-prone skin. I was completely mistaken as this is one of the best makeup removers I’ve ever used. I wear a lot of waterproof mascara and hated tugging at my eyes with makeup wipes. Now, all I have to do is gently rub my eyes and my mascara is gone. For $13, it’s a great value for how much product you get.
Review for: COVER FX Illuminating Prime & Set Kit more...
I bought this kit as I had been wanting to try Cover FX’s products for awhile. I’m not the person to really go for an illuminating face since I’m naturally oily, but these products don’t make you look overly shiny. It honestly gives a nice glow to the face. I was so blown away by the illuminating drops that I’m willing to spend $42 on a full sized one. If you’re wanting to blind someone with your highlight, go get the illuminating drops, and you won’t be disappointed. The primer is very nice and does have good staying power. The illuminating Setting Spray does have glitter in it, but it is not overly sparkly. This brand also has a mattifying set that I would like to try next. So far, I’m very impressed with them.
For the price, I think the quality is pretty great. Packed with pigment, these shadows are awesome for halo eyes, or just simply adding something extra to your eye look. I would recommend adding a glitter primer to enhance the shadows even more.
The best mascara I’ve ever tried hands down. The mascara is the blackest black I have ever seen, and the staying power is unbelievable. It dries quick, so there’s little possibility for it to transfer. The waterproof one has stayed on my eyes for about 10 hours and had not transferred or worn off at all. I would highly recommend this mascara.
This stuff is a great dupe for Anastasia’s dipbrow. Although it doesn’t have a long staying time (~8 hours), it has a very nice consistency and doesn’t dry out. I would recommend if you’re starting out using eyebrow products, or wanting something different to try. I would not recommend this for people that live in warmer climates as it probably would have a tendency to wear off quicker.
