Ive always been a huge fan of Love Beauty And Planet so I wasn’t surprised to love this when I received it. It makes my dry, sensitive skin feel so soft, and my skin doesn’t really dry out as quickly throughout the day. I love what this company does and what it stands for. The only reason why I’m giving this 4 stars is because I can’t stand this particular scent. In the bottle it was not great, but not bad, but as it lingers on my skin it drives me CRAZY and no amount of scented lotions or perfumes make it go away.
This is my preferred way of sending money to my friends. Even when we COULD send it between our same banks, we still use Venmo. It's easier to use and track, there's no fees to send from our bank accounts, and I like that we can make it public or private and use emojis for what the reason is. Venmo has partnered with things like ride sharing apps and food ordering services so that you can easily split it with your friends and family. I've been able to easily purchase concert tickets from people by using Venmo, and it's easier than using Paypal where they sometimes take a fee. My only issue is that they don't seem to like my Credit Union, so I can't transfer money back into there. It ends up being fine because I can send it to my Chase account without any charges.
I love this serum so much. It has a light scent to it - nothing overpowering, and nothing that sticks around for a long time - but it's truly lovely. I can't even place what the scent is, but it's very nostalgic for me. The purple color does not tint the skin, and even without moisturizer this leaves my skin feeling super soft and plump. I feel like for the amount of product I get, the price is actually MORE than reasonable, and I am really torn between this and my Drunk Elephant serums being my favorites. My Drunk Elephant serums are almost twice the price but combat my redness, which is important to me. However, his Olehenriksen serum makes my skin so much softer, for longer, and is much less money. The only other con I have for this is that it didn't come with a cap. I don't know if I just got a weird one in my shipment because I got a free one for review, or if they just don't come with caps at all, but I wasn't able to travel with it because of this and it ended up being kind of a bummer.
I love this stuff. It leaves my skin feeling so soft, and is great for little makeup touches throughout the day or as I’m applying my makeup to just clean up lines and stuff. I prefer face wash and makeup removing cloths, so I don’t really use this as a full part of my skincare routine, but if they were to make the Garnier micellar water in a wipe I would switch to it from Simple. My skin is pretty sensitive and this one works really well with my skin.
I love Colourpop, but I was disappointed by this. When Kathleen was posting about it all over online it looked so pretty and pigmented and it’s not. It doesn’t blend very well and it takes a lot of the product to make it seem as colorful and beautiful as her searches and tutorials seemed. The colors also don’t all make sense - The Libra is almost invisible on my skin. The glitters are a bit rough and chunky. Just disappointing. I will stick to their super shocks.
I definitely used this wrong - I thought it was a facial oil not a serum and put it on after moisturizer. But I loved it? It made my skin feel so soft, and my moisturizer previously had felt a bit sticky. It made my skin feel soft and held the moisture in. 🤷🏼♀️ I’ll try it the way it’s supposed to be used, but regardless it’s a 5 star as a facial oil. I was obsessed with how it made my skin feel.
I did not like this at all. It comes out like a gel, and I don’t find that helpful for me as a toner. It doesn’t have a smell to it, but I did find that because it was a gel it dried down very quickly and was hard to spread around my face easily. I like to use pads instead of my fingers, and that was near impossible with this. It dried down almost immediately, and my serums all work best after toners and on a slightly damp feel to the skin - which all of my other toners do. I don’t need a whitening, anti-wrinkle, OR anti-acne product, so perhaps if I was in need of a product for those reasons this wouldn’t be as big of a deal for me. I have my own skin issues that take importance and I feel this was a hinderance.
I love this little brush. It's so cute, and works so well to blend foundation into the skin. It's the perfect size to just throw in your makeup bag when traveling, as some of the full size makeup brushes are a little too long to fit inside standard bags. I don't use this as much anymore because I found that brushes were messing with my skin and accentuating my dry skin, but it's an amazing brush and one I definitely would recommend.
This is an okay moisturizer, but it's not my favorite. The smell is okay - not the best smelling scent ever, but also not gross or chemical-y either. It's not too overpowering, so it's fine to deal with. It does make my skin feel soft, but it stings slightly as I apply it. I will say, I have redness to my face and have dry, sensitive skin. This definitely bothered my skin after initial application, but it didn't last long. My skin always felt soft afterwards, but it wasn't a long-lasting softness. If I applied it in the morning, my face felt dry and dull come nighttime. The reason I'm rating this a 3 is because this is a lotion based moisturizer, and when I compare it to my water based moisturizers like the garnier fructis aqua bomb moisturizer or even the belief one, it's just a whole different feel. The water based moisturizers make my skin feel soft and supple for 24-48 hours, and this is a little pricey compared to my holy grails already. So, not bad for other people. I wouldn't NOT recommend it, but I definitely won't be adding it to my routine.
