I was so excited to get a sample of this product in my Birchbox. I really do like it, it smells great and it absorbs moisture in my hair really well. I was hoping the tint would work for my hair, I am a medium brunette but it's still a bit too light, which is a shame. I have to be really careful to rub it in and brush it through or I can see it left in my hair.
I started using the cleansing conditioner a while a go and have been really impressed with it. It's a six-in-one product and you don't use a shampoo before using it. It really makes my hair feel nourished and hydrated. The one thing I found is that if I used it too often, it made my roots greasy. So I tend to use it once a week and I also use a regular shampoo on my roots and use the cleansing conditioner down my hair, with a focus on the ends.
I love my GHD straightening iron. I purchased it in 2007 and still have it. I know a number of friends have purchased them and had them burn out on them but mine is doing fine. I would definitely replace it with another if I had to but I would always use this brand, I swear by it. They heat up so fast and stay very hot, but they gently glide through your hair. Also great for curling!
I love Aldo shoes. They are more expensive but I think they're well made and usually leather shoes that last a long time. I try to shop here when they have good sales so I can get good quality shoes at more affordable prices.
I like to go into Urban Outfitters to see their new stock each season but I have increasingly found it less appealing. I used to shop there very often but have found that I have grown out of the style. They also don't have as great sales as they used to.
I was absolutely obsessed with UGGs from 2008 to 2011. I wore them all winter, every year. I still think they are a great shoe for comfort and warmth but I don't wear them as often now as they aren't exactly my style.
I'm probably not the right customer base for Rue 21, as it seems to be more for teens and I can see why it would appeal to them. I just often find that the stores are crammed with items and my local store is usually a total mess and employees are not very friendly. Not to discredit the clothing but it is a shame that the shopping experience is not pleasant at my local store.
I just signed up for my first Julep Maven box and it was the St. Patrick's day themed box. I thought the box was fantastic, it had three nail polishes, an eye pencil and nail transfers! The only issue I had with the nail polishes, is that because the bottle is tall and slim, a lot of polish is all over the brush, so I had to keep wiping it off the brush incase it dripped everywhere. I think the look of the nail polish bottles is nice but maybe not the most practical.
