I received this complimentary for testing purposes in a VoxBox, and have been using it along with the acid peel pads and cream at night. I do like this cleanser, it is just like the sort of cleanser I normally use (mild acid wash, no/low colour, no grits, non foaming) and it’s lovely. It doesn’t irritate or dry out my skin, especially since it’s going on before an acid treatment, it doesn’t burn at all (of course, but perhaps some people hear that it’s an acid face wash and think it will hurt), and it gets all my foundation off. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because, like I said, it’s just like many other cleansers I use, so since it’s not super unique, I leave that star for room for improvement.
I received this in a VoxBox complimentary for testing purposes, along with a few other components of an acid regimen and I’ve really really loved it. To test most accurately, I’ve been using only the cleanser, peel pads, and this cream for follow up, where normally I use 3-4 different moisturizing/calming products because I tend to get so dehydrated, but using only this has been perfectly moisturizing and very soothing after the acid peel! The texture is peculiar, sort of reminds me of a silicone based primer but it can’t have any silicone in it otherwise I’d break out (which I have not). Definitely intend to repurchase when I run out, and recommend for anyone after acid treatments, and doubly for anyone that need is looking for a calming component to their routine!
I received this gel cream complimentary from Influenster as part of a VoxBox for testing purposes. First impressions, I’ve used Vichy before (years ago) and I was happy of course to be part of a VoxBox, but not particularly thrilled as I’ve always had a bit of a thing with Vichy. They’re great products, and supposedly for sensitive skin, but for some reason I always found it irritating my skin, as well as quite fragrant and astringent for unknown reasons. I am very happy to report that whatever issue that was in the past, this formula went over amazingly well with me. I have sensitive, combination, acne prone skin in such a way that even when I’m oilier in the summer I still get dry patches. The weight and texture of this cream was perfect. Because it’s so lightweight I don’t have to worry about over applying, giving me enough moisture to fight off dry patches and never feeling greasy. I didn’t experience any redness, any reacting with other products I use, any peeling when applying foundation or primer, or any breakouts because of it, even when first transitioning to it. I loved it so much I switched off my other staple finishing moisturizer, and went and bought the matching serum, which I’ve also been loving. The Only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because of the jar. I understand that a new line was made to match (a watery gel cream, this, as well as a light cream and a thicker cream for different skin types), with all formulas using the jar, but it’s so fluid you can’t really use a sanitary scoop with it and I hate feeling like I’m contaminating the product by putting my hands in it all the time. If it were in a pump bottle like the serum, it would receive 5 stars no question. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who’s combo dry-oily, or who’s looking for a light moisturizer that doesn’t interact with their other active ingredients. Very happy with this product and I’ll definitely repurchase.
I want to preface this by saying that I personally used this as a body wash as opposed to a face scrub. I received this in an Influenster VoxBox and have previously purchased it, while that was years ago I know it was too harsh for my face, but I’m sensitive to the little beads in face scrubs so that’s really not unique to this and I wouldn’t hold it against this. I tend to get texture on the back of my upper arms that I’ve had a hard time getting rid of, as well as some scattered body blemishes I’ve also had trouble getting rid of. As far as on the general blemishes, I noticed reduced swelling and decrease in the number of new blemishes forming, even after a few days without use (I was travelling, the bottle is too large to take in a carryon). With the texture it helped a lot, after about three days consistent use I would consider it cleared completely with no more texture appearing during use, however this did not last very well on periods without use. So, if texture is the issue your battling and you don’t think you’d be willing to use this daily, or if you use it as a body wash and don’t shower every day, perhaps this is not the best for you, otherwise I definitely recommend, it has a nice, light smell and it works. For mild regular blemishes, I’d say use 2-3 times a week would be fine and as long as your not sensitive to beads I recommend it. Ironically as a body was I wish it had a few more beads for the exfoliation part. I appreciate most that the beads are stated not to be environmentally harmful. Overall, I’d definitely recommend for any skin with texture or mild blemish issues that’s not too sensitive!
I've used a few colours of this product. Being in a rush most of the time, I like having these in my bag for easy colour that's a little sheer, so appropriate, but also still quite vibrant, as in it brings life and colour to the face with just a swipe. I find the colour lasts a bit, not all day but 4-6 hours maybe. The only reason I took off a star is that it can sometimes either cause or emphasize lip texture (flakey skin, etc), which I don't have time to exfoliate off if I'm on the go.
Sadly, I didn't love this product the way I love the semi permanent colour! I've given it three stars because to me, it's a single day hair colour product and with that comes the expectation of it feeling kind of like hair chalk, which it did, only not as pigmented. As far as how it applied on my hair, there really wasn't much to it, not much shimmer, really no colour at all, which is unfortunate. I've notice those who received one of the coloured options (purple/pink) seemed to have liked the hair makeup better. The applicator, this little spongy bingo poker tip, was a good idea but not really stiff or thick enough to work out properly. I didn't find the application as messy as some other reviewers seem to have, but it certainly was more difficult than the semi permanent colour. From the looks I've seen with the coloured makeups, this product may be worth a shot, but this particular colour didn't work out, for me at least.

I was actually incredibly surprised by this temporary hair colour. I've used manic panic before, and normally my hair doesn't take temporary colour well, so that would stay in about three washes before it was absolutely gone. This I've had in for about three weeks now, and despite having been a bit nervous about a nasty fade out (purple to blue to green...) I never had one! It's gone from purple, to fainter and fainter purple! I'm quite pleased. The colour itself is lovely, I noticed that the longer the colour was on (when dyeing it) the more purple with red tones it became, where the pieces that were in less were more of a blue purple. The pieces that I put only a small amount of colour on for a short period of time turned blue. To change the period of time certain parts were dyeing for, I just started at the bottom, worked upwards, and striped it upwards in random order to keep different periods of time distributed around the hair. If you have long hair, definitely buy two boxes. My hair is fine and about waist length, I used every drop and ombré/highlighted about half way up my hair. It was very easy to use, not drippy at all, didn't get any colour transfer to my robe during the dying, absolutely no bleeding onto pillows or towels after (which is rare for a purple!!!). My hair felt delightfully soft afterwards, and as it's faded out it's gone back exactly to normal, not damaged in any way. Though my hair is professionally ombré'd blonde, most of the colour I got looked exactly like the box cover, which I loved. I also found that in certain lights you could really see it, but in a lot of them it almost blended in, which make it fully work appropriate. Will be trying out some of the other colours, I definitely recommend!
To start off, I do not normally wear black-brown mascara. My whole life, I have gone for blackest black and never thought twice about it, but being sent this product in black-brown gave me the time to try it. For this mascara, I think it was absolutely perfect! To explain, this mascara gives a very natural look- lengthy, but very separated, absolutely no clumps (no matter how hard you try, which I'll come back to). It gives the effect of having very long, nicely curled lashes, no clumps, zero flaking (even for me, and I forget I have makeup on and rub my eyes a lot, and still, Zero flakes under my eyes), and comes off very well with warm water. It has absolutely become my favourite no-makeup staple. The wand is long, with a very thin tip so you can really get the inner corner without getting mascara all over your eyelid. As I said before, it Does Not Clump, which brings it's only downside, it takes a bit of work to really build volume, But, my pro tip for that is to layer before each coat dries. Definitely recommend and will repurchase
Obsessed with the Creme Brûlée scent of these, I bought the studded vault about two years back when it came out, never had a single regret about it. I love the variety of colours, and the opacity of the formula. Cathedral is a personal favourite for everyday, but there's not one colour you could go wrong with. Stay on all day, matte finish, hold up very well to food and water, minimal fading on the inner lip like I find with some other lipsticks. Definitely recommend.
