Review for SpaLife Rejuvenating Facial Mask - Cherry - 0.81 oz - 9 months, 2 weeks ago
This mask was intended to rejuvenate and bring back my inner b$*%# to her glowing glory. She's pissed and no longer speaking to me. The way the mask was designed it was SUPER difficult to navigate my eyes and not get the product in them - I don't want burning eyes in the mix. After I handled that situation I sat back and tried to relax, the issue for me was it never seems to absorb into my skin. It just felt gross and heavy the whole time. When I did take off this mask my face felt/looked oily and all I wanted to do was wash my face. At no point did I feel rejuvenated - just kind of annoyed.

Review for Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub - 9 months, 2 weeks ago
I was going to repurchase the Tree Hut scrubs that I normally choose but a coworker talked me into trying this scrub from Soap and Glory. I was intrigued when I saw how dense the scrub was and not mushy. I felt as though the density would mean it would last longer and not become so liquidey in the shower. That was the one downside to the Tree Hut scrubs was that it would catch water in the tub when I had the shower going and it would immediately start to become super watery and lose it's friction and texture. So I felt as though I was going through the tubs super quick. However the price of the Tree Hut scrub is about half of the Soap and Glory but if I can get more uses out of this one I find the price to be justified. So far I am LOVING this scrub. It has a super yummy oatmeal and pancakes scent to it, again this does not imply it has fragrance in it, the ingredients are just very potent. The scrub seems to remain pretty solid, almost like a dense pomade texture even when a little water gets in the tub. I have used this on my armpits and on my entire body between tanning sessions and I love how smooth it makes my skin feel. Highly recommend!

Review for Murad Environmental Shield Essential-C Cleanser - 9 months, 2 weeks ago
So I was originally looking to try a Farmacy Cleanser when I walked into Sephora but after I walked around and couldn't find Farmacy I ran into an old coworker and they were able to show me this brightening cleanser from Murad. I should say that I am normally very drawn to anything that has Vitamin C in it. I love brightening ANYTHING. It truly helps your skin feel super soft and not look so dull or "dirty" when you have fresh clean skin. You can easily wake up in the morning and be okay with how your natural face looks. I was hesitant to try this in a cleanser form though as I normally use Vitamin C in a serum. I didn't know if overdoing it would be possible and so far I have had NO issues. I really like how gentle this cleanser is on my sensitive skin. It doesn't make your skin feel super dry or oily, it genuinely feels very clean afterwards. I use this morning and night time and I think this has to be a new favorite of mine.

Review for e.l.f. Beauty Shield SPF 50 Skin Shielding Moisturizer - 9 months, 2 weeks ago
I was balling on a budget when I picked up this chick from Target and I was in the mood to be impressed. I was also on my second day of traveling and tired. You HAVE to shake this like a lot. If you don't this nastiness comes out that it just oily and disgusting looking. Like I almost didn't try again. Then I saw the "Shake well" and admittedly I had messed up. So after shaking the like out of this little sunscreen bottle I pumped it again. Low and behold a little tan blob came out. It looks gross. It doesn't look right going on and it makes my face lighter (laughing silently to myself as I type this) It does disappear, and it didn't make my make up slide or move. The smell is sunscreen but it goes away fast. I don't hate this product but I forget about it and go for other things. I won't repurchase, sorry e.l.f. :(

Review for Natasha Denona Tropic Eyeshadow Palette - 9 months, 2 weeks ago
This palette is SO FREAKING PIGMENTED. I've been using this guy for over 2 weeks now and I feel like I have a really good breakdown of the palette. Is it worth $129? No. Do I recommend it? Hell yes. It is hard for me to justify the price of this palette when it truly just depends on the customer. If you have a ton of palettes and you're really looking to step up your eye shadow game then hell yes buy this gem. If you are just starting out there are plenty and I mean PLENTY of other ones that are a tenth of the price that do a really nice job. The blend ability of this palette is literally like sex and butter and makeup combined. The colors literally apply just how they look in the pan, that pigmented, no ashy or patchy shit. I would say I am looking forward to trying more of Natasha's wearable palettes in the future because this Tropic palette was supposed to be more on the pop of color range.

Review for Pretty Vulgar The Ink Gel Eyeliner - 9 months, 2 weeks ago
Okay so I received this in my BOXY CHARM (totally amazing and worth every damn penny $21/month) I have always been interested in trying the PV line in Sephora but had only window shopped it up until now. This packaging is BEAUTIFUL, it's weighted and almost to pretty to want to use. Almost. The liner with a straight liner brush is beautiful and glides right on, I love winged liner and this formula made is easy. It also stayed on, I have allergies for days and my eyes water a lot! It lasted morning through night no smudging or movement! I would deff purchase again :)

Review for imPRESS Press-on Manicure - 9 months, 2 weeks ago
Impress Nails
Hey Babes-
So here's the skinny on the recent purchase of above Impress press on nail manicure. I frequent Target more often than I should which generally has me slow walking to beauty sections. Generally I rock acrylic nails and put my naturals through hell. Constant revolving door of to many refills, peeling brittle nails, and weeks of recovery before I start over. I have been doing to "recovery" thing for 6 months because I just didn't feel up to my usual torture. These caught my eye and I gave them a shot, I noticed after they are cheaper online or Walmart than inside Target! I actually paid $7.99 :(
the action: I manicured my nails prior to application as recommended (trimmed, pushed back cuticles, and cleaned my nails) used the nail cleanser they include and applied! Application of these nails is so easy, and the cuticle area of the false nails is soft and for flexible so it feels and looks more natural! I was really happy with the immediate result and how they looked. The nails are smooth and the glitter never catches on anything. They could easily pass as the $40 nails you get at a salon. The nails lasted through sleep and throughout the next day of make up applications never feeling weak. Now in all honestly I deep cleaned my house that Sunday (day 3) and lost both ring finger nails, I do feel that's my fault because hello.....so much cleaner and hitting my hands on stuff. I actually tend to break my acrylics when I deep clean too.
All in all if you have an event, are easy on your hands, date, or last minute need to look put together I recommend these!!!!
