I received the shade 2W2 Butterscotch in my voxbox, and i was pleasantly surprised with how well the radiance perfecting foundation performed and well it matched my skin tone (normally a C6 in MAC). I’ve had it on for about four hours now on top of the foundation primer, and it hasn’t budged! My skin looks like it glows from within, and the finish is a combination of glowy and matte. Planning to repurchase this in the future.
I absolutely love this product. I started using it after my hair stylist recommended it-- my hair has been so damaged from using my curling iron every day and I was so surprised at how soft my hair felt after applying just a few drops. I was super skeptical using on my hair and was worried it would make it look greasy, but it added so much softness and life to my hair. It smells incredible too! Will be buying more!
I absolutely love this item. My hair stylist recommended I use a couple of drops of the Moroccan Oil Treatment Light after I wash my hair, and my hair felt so incredibly soft and was easy to brush through. I was very skeptical about using an oil in my hair because I was worried about it making my hair greasy, but that wasn't the case at all. I would let it air dry in my hair and then style. I've already gone through two bottles of this and am going to order more.
I love the Nuxe Juile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Oil so much I have two spare bottles. It's my holy grail skin product-- I use it on my skin after I take a shower and I use a dime-sized amount in my hair to get my knots out. It keeps my skin and hair moisturized without leaving a greasy feeling. I personally love the smell, but some of my girlfriends find it too overpowering. It is very difficult to find in the US now that Nuxe USA has shut down, but I ask my girlfriends to buy a bottle for me anytime theyre on vacation! Just be careful not to drop the bottle! And pro-tip: if you get the bigger sized bottle, it comes with a spray!
This is my holy grail liquid liner. Stila's Stay All Day formula really lives up to its name-- it lasts through crying, through sweating from the gym. It does not budge. The pigmentation is incredible, compared to the Kiko and Kat von D and Maybelline eyeliners. Definitely my favorite waterproof liner, and beats out my former holy grail eyeliner from Loreal (carbon black liquid liner).
I would give the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ten stars if I could. This is my holy grail concealer-- it is creamy, not too thick, medium coverage/but buildable. This was one of the first brands out there that really offered amazing shades that actually matched my skin. Unlike other concealers out there, this doesn't settle into fine lines (even without setting powder!) and gives me coverage all day. Incredible
Oh boy, the Maybelline cover stick corrector concealers take me way back. I used to use these in high school and college (and sadly in shades way too light for my skin tone) to hide the bags under my eyes. These are amazingly creamy products, but if you use these, a little goes a long, long way and do not forget to blend it in. I have photos where it was really clear I didn't blend it out enough... Definitely worth a try if you keep blending. That said, Maybelline has come a long way and provides more shades/better formulas for camera/hd like their FIT ME concealers and their age rewind concealers.
I really wanted to love Benefit's Gimme Brow Gel, but I have mixed feelings about it. I definitely cannot use only this product on my brows-- just wouldnt give me the amount of color I need to shade my brows in. I would still have to use Anastasia's brow powder or brow wiz as a base and then use this to set my brows... That said, I find that the color still fades away in two hours and I would have to reapply. Not what I want when I am shelling out about 20 bucks for a brow product. Sticking to Glossier's boy brow or NYX's brow mascara which are both incredible.
