I'm currently learning to love myself again. In recovery for 8 months, starting to care about my health, my style, my looks and so much more! Just recently started wearing make-up and doing my nails again. I Iove to read, take surveys, play puzzle games, eat yummy food and I'm passionate about helping fellow addicts recover and finding new, delicious coffees.
I love Pet smart because you can take your babies there and let them pick out their own toys and stuff. The prices are a little on the high side but it's worth it to have a fun outing with your dogs. The staff is always cheerful and helpful and they have a lot of variety. And we can look at fish and stuff. They will never groom my dog again, though. I paid $90 and he looked worse than when I took him.
Advantage and Advantage II are good at preventing flea and tick infestation. 2 years ago I finally learned to just treat the animals year round. I spray their yard a couple times a year, too. Its been 2 years since we had fleas, I only found one tick last year and it wasn't even attached yet...it works pretty well, I'd say, as long as you're starting out with no fleas. If you already have 'em, it's gonna be harder.
The fleas in my area are a rough and tumble bunch. It takes a couple months of treating your pet, yard and carpet if you let them get a toehold. Of you start before it gets very warm you can nip it in the bud. But you can't let them catch you slipping. Advantage will prevent the infestation but it has to work really hard to kill one off. Best to use year round. If I do that, no fleas all summer.
Like I said, Frontline doesn't really work any more around here...not for fleas anyway. Idk if it works on Lone star ticks or deer ticks, I haven't used it in so long Cuz the fleas were taking over. Not worth the expense, that's for sure.
It.used to work well but I think the fleas got used to it because a lot of my fellow furbaby parents have reported the same problem. It just doesn't seem to do anything any more. And now we have all these new ticks in our area that cause all these horrible diseases.. I know 3 people with Lyme and 2 with that one where you can't eat meat. Its scary. We and our babies need serious protection!
Its smells and looks so nasty but my Kitty-Puffs loves it so much that a few times a month I get her a couple cans and let her have an afternoon snack. But only if she plays with me for a while first...I like spoiling my Furbabies though, even though I try to be stern...lol
I liked it. Misty didn't. Well, she liked it, just not the way she loves her Meow Mix tender centers...l like it because she doesn't cough up as many hairballs, it's doesn't have any smell and she doesn't gain any weight. She is fine where she is, I don't want her fat and unhealthy.
Misty loves this stuff! She will sit and eat til she cat barely walk come back 30 minutes later and eat some more. She begs for it like it's wet food or tuna! It must be pretty yummy. Misty is a 5 year old Siamese mix chubby 9 lb kitty who's main interests are eating, sleeping, catching things and yelling at me.
It was really nice stuff. Again, a sample...about 5 night's worth. Very light and creamy, went on super smooth and a little goes a long way, so it is probably a good value for the money. It left my skin very smooth and no residue in the morning. I even thought I could see a slight difference in my little laugh lines and crows feet. I would buy this. I'm now using a cream from Clark's Botanicals that came in last month's Sephora play. When it's gone I'll probably purchase the Okay.
