I first want to say that I received this product complimentary of Influenster for review purposes. I'm thankful for the opportunity, but that does not mean it will bias my review.
With that being said, I'm not impressed.
I received this product broken. The lip crayon, the product itself, was melted into the top of the cap. When I went to take off the cap, very carefully, the product broke off from its base, still stuck to the cap. I ended up having to freeze the lip crayon to even get it off of the cap, and I had to melt some of the bottom to the left over product on the base of the crayon just to be able to use it.
I lost a lot of product because of this. And it was a mess.
I still wanted to give it a chance. On first application, the first thing I noticed was the smell. It's hard to describe, but it smells like cheap kid's makeup I would get for Christmas. It applied smoothly, I didn't need a lot of product. Two swipes and a touch up around the edges and I was done. It felt very greasy though. There was a very oily slip to it. And it didn't feel as matte as I thought it'd be. It does not feel hydrating or moisturizing. It feels like it just sits on top of the lips; it doesn't sink in. The pigmentation of the shade is really nice. I am in love with the color of this lip crayon.
I wore it for a few hours to test how it holds up. I found it transfers onto EVERYTHING. My coffee cup had visible lipstick rings. I found streaks of it on my clothes. Get dressed for the day BEFORE putting this on. It wore off immediately after eating. It doesn't last long at all.
I gave it some more chances for a few more days. I kept wanting to like it. I tried applying less product, still found it had that oily slip. Added more product, and it was way too messy and felt like I had stage makeup on my lips. I tried blotting and got tiny bits of tissue stuck on my lips. I really tried. But honestly, I don't like it.
I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or if my ways to repair it messed with the formula, but this lip crayon is a hard pass for me. I find too many cons to outweigh the couple of pros to continue using this. I prefer lipstick to feel like I'm not wearing any. It should sink into the lips and give that cushiony, velevt-like feel. This was very oily, smelled like kid's makeup, and transferred a lot. I found the color to be gorgeous. I love how pigmented it is. But I cannot stand the feel of it. And especially for the price, I don't think it's even worth trying. #ThatsHonest
First off, I wanna say I recieved this product for free from Influenster for reviewing purposes. I believe a primer is a necessity when it comes to having a good makeup day, especially when foundation is involved. So i paired this with one of my favorites to test it out. My first impression of it were good. It smells good and soothing, like oatmeal. It is beige tinted but the color blends out to nothing. I noticed it had a very slight blurring effect after application. It's non-irritating. But I didn't see any pore filling effects (I do tend to have quite large pores in different areas of my face). This primer felt moisturizing and smooth. And it seemed to melt into my skin. I wasn't completely wild about it though.
Then I applied my foundation on top of it and my opinion chnaged. I found it is a great base for foundation. My foundation blended beautifully and sunk into the primer. It didn't feel like I had layers like some other primers feel. The primer helped for my foundation to look smoother than it would without it. And it was not budging easy.
My final thoughts: Foundation stayed all day (7+ hours) Held up under heat (80° weather, no AC) Didn't use setting spray and it didn't rub off from basic living (changing, hand against face, laying down, etc)
Would use again without a doubt. Will be mixing this into my regular makeup routine Might have to use along side a pore filling primer for my more problem areas.
*disclaimer* I did receive this item complimentary from Influenster to test and review.
I never use lash primer, but trying this one, I could see my lashes got a visible omph. I feel it gave a good base for the mascara to stick to. The applicator for the primer is also really skinny and long, which made applying it easy. But since it's so skinny, it's very easy to jab yourself in the eyeball if you're not very careful. Which is exactly what I did in my rush this morning. Then I applied the mascara. The first thing I noticed is how richly black it is. This is something I adore. At first apply, I felt my lashes were looking very nice and natural. But the more product I applied, the more my lashes stuck together and got almost spidery. I had to go in with a clean spoolie and go over it to separate them a bit. What surprised me is how much the mascara lengthened my lashes! I could see a visible difference. I wasn't a fan of the wand though. It grabbed the lashes, but it was difficult. I just wish the bristles were a little bit longer. I did wear this to work to see how it's hold up. I wore this 8+ hours with no AC. It did wear down a bit in the under eye/bag area, leaving a visible black residue underneath that I had to clean up. I lost a bit of length throughout the day, but not a lot. You can see this in third picture. But it stayed, even through the heat. I'm genuinely surprised. My final thoughts: I really liked this mascara and primer. I will definitely be adding this to my regular makeup rotation! I want to add that this product did not burn my eyes like a lot of mascaras do. I think it's because the ingredients in here are not harsh like most other mascaras. I would suggest going in light handed with the product because it's easy to apply too much. I really enjoyed it and suggest for you to check it out! This really is #CleanBeautyThatWorks !
These are just okay. I would describe these as entry level lipsticks. These are the ones that you experiment with when you first get into makeup and don't want to spend a lot of money. I think these retail for $1. These have SUCH A STRONG SMELL. And it's not good either. It smells like chemicals and crayons. Smelling it right now, it makes my head hurt, quite literally. I am afraid it might trigger me to have a migraine. Which is the reason I don't wear these often at all. But when you swatch these, they really do pack some pigment! It is the one redeeming quality about them. In the picture, I swatched the ones I have, in shades Dark Wine (536A/ A very deep red/burgundy), Fifteen Minutes Aflame (517C/ A true hot pink with the subtlest coral undetone), and Dark Pink Frost (530D/ A light, cool toned pink with rose gold reflects throughout). These shades are so beautiful! They are very shiney though, so be warned. These lipsticks have an almost oil slip feel to them on the lips, which is not too big of a bother. They apply like straight butter though. Very very creamy and smooth, almost dangerously. Be careful with your application or it can get real messy real quick. They are very cute colors, and I like they way they look on the lips. It's the smell that really gets to me and makes me dislike these more than I should.
For $2, these are some of the best cream lipsticks you can get! The first thing I notice about these is that they swatch VERY WELL. In the photo, I swatched Sugar Plum Fairy (908C/ A berry toned pink raspberry), Cinnamon Spice (917B/ A toasted deep red), and Cherry Bomb (918D/ A very deep red with purple undertones). They are PIGMENTED, creamy, and smooth. The finish has more of a shine, but is not glossy. I like that these are not completely matte. The smell of these are not that strong, but it does not smell yummy either. It has a subtle crayon/playdough scent to it, which does not bother me at all. You get a good amount of product in each tube, especially for the price. These lipsticks wear very well, are super comfortable, and look flattering on the lip. It is hard to get an even lip line with the shape of the lipsticks, so you have to take a small lip brush to get a nice clean application on the lip line. It's tedious, but it's not too annoying. The shape of the lipstick itself is the reason I do not give it a perfect 5 stars. That is it's only true downfall. In the picture, I am wearing the shade Cherry Bomb and I applied straight from the tube and not with a lip brush to show that it can get messy. The color is absolutely STUNNING though. These lip colors do wear off with eating and drinking, they are NOT budgeproof, but they leave a pretty stain when they wear down. I would definitely pick these up! Wet n Wild never fails to deliver good affordable make-up!!💕
I received this @belifusa Pore Cleaner Bubble Foam #complimentary from #Influenster @influenster for #free to test and review through a #contest. I can honestly say I am in LOVE with this product! #BelifInBubbles ❤
First, let me give you insight to my skin type. I have oily skin. It's not extreme, but it is still oily. I tend to break out with a few pimples every month, and I ALWAYS have issues with blackheads on my nose. The pores on my face tend to be bigger than not and usually give me problems when I apply makeup. I followed the instructions I received when I used this product. I washed my face with my typical cleanser and patted it dry. After that, I got about 4 pumps of the Belif Pore Cleaner Bubble Foam onto my fingertips and applied a quick and even coat to my face, avoiding my eyes. Immediately, I felt this tingling, bubbly sensation. It was very refreshing and did NOT burn at all (an issue I have with most masks). I gave it a minute for the bubbles to form. I will say I did not see an even bubbling all over my face, just in certain parts. After the bubbles formed, they started to dry down a little bit, so I rushed to the mirror so I could massage them into my skin, which I could feel was gently exfoliating my skin. I rinsed off the remainder of the mask with lukewarm water.
Checking out my skin in the mirror, I could see AND feel a noticeable difference. The pores on my face and significantly shrunk down. My skin felt so soft and luxurious. I was amazed. My face looked like it has been airbushed smooth, but it was just the Bubble Foam!! I applied my normal facial oil moisturizer afterwards, which I noticed sunk into my skin better than usual. I was and still am amazed! I recommend this product to everyone!! The ingredients are all natural, with no harsh chemicals (something that is very important to me with my skincare and hair care routine). My skin has honestly never looked better! Go pick up this up as soon as you can!
*Photos Explained* The first picture is me using the pore cleaner #BelifInBubbles The second picture is the Voxbox I received for free from Influenster. The third picture is my skin after use. As you can see, my skin looks beautiful and airbrushed, but I didn't use a filter at all.
I have mixed feelings with this perfume. I received this as a passing on from my mother, because she wasn't fond of the scent. She bought it off Amazon, so she didn't know how it was gonna smell. I, obviously, happily accepted. I tend to sweat more than most, which does not leave me smelling the best. I find body mists from Bath and Body Works to wear off too quick, so I thought I might have finally met my match with this perfume.
I wore it a few times, happy that it didn't trigger headaches and migraines for me. But I did find it very strong. You only need one spray, two MAX. The only issue I have with this is that it's main smell is very powdery. Not as bad as Love's Baby Soft, but still very powdery. But it has hints of something floral in it which redeems it and makes it very nice and wearable.
When I run out, I'm not sure if I will repurchase it. It's good, but it's not that good.
I was pleasantly surprised by this brush! I ordered it online, since it was only $1, and when I got it, it was shocked! I was expecting it to be flatter based on the photo, but it was actually kind of fluffy. Dense, but fluffy. I didn't know how to use it, but after playing around with it, I found it's true purpose. This is the best brush to blend out smokey eyes (think about black shadow on the lid and a lighter color in the crease and above area, like a red or orange). I blended a base/transition into my crease area, pulling it up almost to the brow. Then I packed on a dark shade to my lid, all over the lid. I then carefully placed my lighter than the lid shade right above the darker shade in the crease with a fluffy crease brush. And I used this Large eyeshadow brush to blend it together to create the perfect smokey eye. I went back and forth with the brush for a few seconds, then flipped the brush so the darker shade that got on the brush would now blend into the lighter shade. And I did that cycle a couple times till I got it perfectly blended. The only downfall of this brush is that it is a little dense and pokey. Not exactly spikey, but it's not super soft and fluffy either. But it does get the job done, and for $1, who could say no?!
These are the most basic eye pencils out there. Yes, they do have a cute selection of colors. Yes, they look good on the skin/eyes. But my biggest issue with these is the bleed off the waterline so bad. I would use the black pencil everyday, and I would CONSTANTLY have to wipe off the product that bled down underneath my eyes, in my under eye bag area. It was not cute. I tried it with their other colors, and they still did the same things. I keep these pencils around for editorial looks where I need to draw something on my face or even to fill in my eyebrows from time to time. But I will NEVER use these on my waterline ever again.
