I am originally a Californian transplanted to Florida. I come as a tourist to Miami years ago and couldn't get myself to leave. Now with my son and my husband, I have deeply established roots here and I still love it.
I enjoy being outdoors, cooking, spending time with my family, and traveling.
This is what I use to bathe my son. I love that it had no harsh chemicals and it lasts a real long time. The one qualm I have is that it's not tear free so I have to be extra careful not to let him splash his eyes in the bath.
I always remind myself this is a dollar store and maybe that keeps my expectations low, but I really love a few things about this store. 1. Diapers - I started using the dollar General diapers a few months ago. The price is ridiculously cheaper than other diapers I was buying and the quality is really good for us. The diapers hold lots of ... Stuff and don't tear or open up unexpectedly. The diapers are white and look good - I think they look better and act better than the luvs diapers, personally. 2. Paper products- lots of good priced paper products always stocked 3. Cleaners and detergent - along with manufacturers coupons you can get some spectacular pricing on this stuff.
So remember, it's a dollar store, customer service is usually sub-par, lines are usually slow and long, and sores can be disorganized or cluttered but the savings is definitely there.
Costco is great when I know what I want and I have researched the price. I have overpaid at Costco more than a few times because of the massiveness of the store overwhelming me. I have found some wonderful deals though and the quality of their products, along with their return policy are amazing.
I really love this place. It's easy, cheap, good quality, and cheap. ;) I grab my reuseable bags and my quarter, make my way to the shopping carts, insert my quarter, and I am bagging my underpriced good quality groceries about40 minutes later. I have no problem with their Aldi brands, actually I have quite a few must-have favorites already. I used to rely on coupons to save me money but I really do the bulk of my shopping here and couldn't be more pleased.
I have tried all kinds of dish washing liquid in all price ranges and this is the one I find really works for our family. I try to avoid harsh chemicals and I don't want to give up soft hands because I choose to be health conscience. This really work well, it's thick the way I want my dishwashing liquid to be, the smell is mild, rinses easily, no dyes or unneeded chemicals, and it is priced reasonably. My goto dish soap.
I love the badger brand for my little one. I hate harsh chemicals on him and I have used a few of these badger products and they seem to work well and last long. I especially like the bug stick which is simplest to apply. This stuff keeps the Mosquitoes off my son here in Florida in the middle of summer so it's on my *necessities for baby bag* list
Before my son was born I did countless hours of research into car seats. I really wanted to spend my money wisely and buy a safe and top quality seat that I would feel good about putting my son into. I chose the Brixax Marathon seat and I am still happy with my decision 3 years later. This seat is made for infants as well as toddlers and small children. When my son was first born we purchased in insert that kept his head securely in place and when he had more neck control we were able to put him directly in the seat. I haven't had an accident so I can't tell you how the seat would hold up based on experience, but I am happy with the quality of the seat. I have traveled with this seat and it is airplane approved as well.. always good to know. And after many many washes the cover has held up good and looks great.
