This brush is wonderful. I’ve always applied concealers and other face liquids/creams with my fingers as I find most brushes and sponges leave me with an unnatural, streaky appearance and don’t give me great coverage or apply way too much product. Well that, and I am lazy and/or always in a rush. I have problems with shadows around the eyes, dark circles, and the occasional blemish, so concealer is a daily must have. Usually I pat and blend a cream formula with my ring finger. After getting tired of dirty fingers, transferring oils onto my face, etc...and struggling to really cover, I finally gave in. Went to Sephora and looked for a brush that was shaped in a way that could mimic the finger patting motion and give me the same effect without actually using my fingers to apply and blend. This brush delivers and then some! It can be used with concealers, cream shadows, primers, and anything else you may use on smaller areas of the face. The brush has a flat side to apply/pack product onto the skin with precision, and gives a higher coverage look if you use it to blend. The slanted side still gives great coverage, but with a lighter, more blurred effect. Both sides blend seamlessly without removing any product or giving cake face. I use the flat side to apply, and the soft slanted side to pat and blend. It fits into every nook and cranny of the face, and is especially good for getting hard to reach spots around the eye when concealing dark circles/shadows. Feels soooo luxuriously soft too(it better for that price tag). Love it!! I do clean it after every use, though. Product seems to build up on the bristles quicker than with other brushes I own, and can compromise the performance of the brush. Seems to be a thing with all my Sephora collection brushes. No biggie, just a heads up! Brushes should be cleaned anyway lol. I also bought the #47 foundation brush. It’s basically the same brush but larger for base, contour...you name it. Both are worth the splurge.
Blush has never been my favorite part of my daily makeup routine. I always felt very “eh” about it. I tend to stick to a neutral, dewy face with a fun highlight(usually Milk Holographic Stick in Mars) and dark or bright standout lip color. However, after picking up 2 Cloud Paints(Puff and Dusk), blush has become one of my favorite parts of makeup! The formula is so easy to apply and blend. A little goes a looooong way, so start with just a pinhead sized amount and go from there. It is super buildable and non-streaky so use as much as you like! It’s completely foolproof. Although it is liquid, it is not a stain, so you do not need to rush to blend or worry about patchiness and streaks that come with using stains. Its non-drying on the skin, feels smooth and bouncy because of the collagen in the formula. It dries down matte, but in the most beautiful and natural way. I use Dusk in the hollows of my cheeks as a subtle contour, and Puff on the apples of my cheeks and across my nose to enhance my freckles. It looks wonderful. The only thing that can be tricky is the packaging. It’s adorable and travel-friendly because of the tube size, but be sure to squeeze gently as it comes out of the tube REALLY fast. Since you don’t need much to begin with, the excess feels wasteful. Just be careful. I’ve decided to use that excess product that comes rushing out as a subtle wash of color on my eyelids, then I top it off with some sort of gloss over top on the lids and it looks great. It also works well on the lips. This is my new favorite blush!
This is my holy grail, every day face base! I have been using it daily for over a year now and have gotten nothing but compliments on how healthy and glowing my skin looks! I have always hated foundations of all kinds. I don’t like feeling like I’m wearing a mask, application is a nuisance, and my fair skin makes shade selection a complete nightmare. I also have lots of freckles all over my face, and foundations either covered them or gave them weird, ashy appearance. This offers minimal coverage, so if you have problem spots like pimples, dark spots, or prominent redness you will want to go in with a concealer when using this. When I first bought skin tint, I really didn’t like it. I thought it was greasy, slippery, and too shiny rather than dewy and glowing. Turns out I was just using too much! I’ve figured it out now, and I’ll never go back. I spritz my face with MAC Fix+, apply a hydrating primer, and use the nozzle tip to paint my face like a cat(not kidding!). Two long, thin whiskers across my cheeks, a dot on my nose and chin, a line across my forehead, and then pat in to blend with fingers. It plays well with other makeup. To set I apply a layer of KVD Lock-It powder(nothing to mattifying, as it takes away the glow the tint delivers!), and then spritz again with my Fix+. It makes my skin appear glowing, dewy, healthy, keeps my freckles intact, and real! It also stays beautiful all day. Never stop making this, Glossier!
I found this highlighter to be just okay. For Glossier’s standards, below tier. I found it to be too oily even on my normal to dry skin. It didn’t melt into my other makeup, and seemed to remove the makeup underneath while moving it around all over my face. When applied carefully, it gives a pretty, editorial shine rarely seen anywhere but on the runway or in magazines...but the application and greasiness keeps me from loving it.
Before using this gloss, I hadn’t touched a lip gloss since middle school. I was skeptical, but after using this, I am sold! It feels cushiony, hydrating, and not sticky! It is fun to apply. It has all the nostalgia with the grown-up benefits.
The concealer is nice, but I do notice creasing throughout the day under my eyes. This is a common problem for me, and I do not blame the product itself. I still love it. Rich, creamy, hydrating, easy to build and apply. I recommend it on darkness, redness, and small imperfections. I wouldn’t recommend it on blemishes, as I feel it doesn’t give ample enough coverage to handle those pesky spots. I love dotting this on my chin, forehead, cheeks, and nose in large circles and blending outward for a foundation but not actually foundation effect. The result is a subtle, natural looking look all over my face.
Glossier is a fun, no-fuss beauty brand. This set is above all others, the textures are unique and make application a fun and a breeze! The stretch concealer is pliable and luminous with medium buileable coverage. I did notice minor creasing, and I did have to reapply once or twice through the day, but the texture, wear and color made it worth it! Boy brow is my holy grail brow do-it-all, I wear this daily whether I’m wearing makeup or going bare faced. This set is a hit!
I love this perfume. It is unique, smells different on everyone(I know, I’ve tried it on so many people- my fiancé, his mom, his sister, my mom, my grandma...you name it!). I received samples with Glossier orders, and fell in love. I then went on to purchase the solid version, which I use all day, every day! Thanks Glossier. I will definitely be using this daily.
