Review for EVGA GeForce GTX 760 Superclocked with EVGA ACX Cooler - 1 year, 7 months ago
The performance gain from switching from a 660ti to the 760 was great(I have since upgraded again to a 970). I used this exact graphics card for about 2 years and from the get-go it runs VERY hot. THis idles at 40C which is decent but as soon as you turn on just one game this card immediately runs at 79c+. If you do not have a water cooler(cpu) and VERY optimal air flow in your case this card will overheat and malfunction fast. I actually considered getting a GPU water cooler but instead I just upgraded to a newer card because this thing had nothing but heat issues from the beginning.
Review for Corsair Hydro Series H55 Quiet CPU Cooler - CW-9060010-WW - 1 year, 7 months ago
This had stellar reviews on newegg and that is the exact reason I purchased but after 2 different purchases I have since switched to a different and better water cooler for only a slight increase in cost. This water cooler has a few pros it is easy to install even for the beginner and it does indeed run quiet like advertised. However my first pump motor blew out after around 8 months and the second replacement did the same at around 6. Closed loop water coolers should last longer but since the price is pretty low I am not too upset but I would err on the side of caution and choose a different brand especially if you play a lot of high end pc games that heat your rig up fast. My corsair h55 broke and immediately my pc overheated and I could have easily blown some important and very pricey hardware had I not realized in time.
For the price(I paid $90) these are sub-par headphones. They have good audio and the option to change from surround sound to old fashioned but the battery dies fast(around 4 hours of continuous use before it starts beeping) and the ear pieces are not that comfortable. They are covered in a fabric which should be softer than pleather but it is actually kind of scratchy on my ears. Overall I wish I had gotten something different and the first pair sent to me was actually defective where only one side worked. I should have just returned them instead of replacing.
Review for Apple iPod Nano - 7th Generation - 1 year, 9 months ago
I cannot live without my iPod nano. My first one was 4th Gen and it didn't have Bluetooth back then. Here I am a decade later with the 7th gen and I still love it. It can hold thousands of songs and syncs flawlessly with most Bluetooth devices. It is extremely small, thin and easy to take anywhere! Perfect for back to school.
Review for Trim Nail Care 7 - Way Buffer - 1 year, 9 months ago
This is pretty cheap but you can really only get 2 uses before it starts getting really bad cracks. On top of that the sides are too thin so you often end up scraping your nails with a different side messing them up. Honestly I would stick with the trim 4 way buffer it is way better.
Review for Olivari Mediterranean Olive Oil Extra Virgin - 1 year, 9 months ago
I love olivari and have been using this exclusively with their one for frying as well. This has a very light taste just perfect for light finishing. I use it to drizzle or sometimes when making dressings. It is a little more money but I love it and the pop up pourer is durable and works well.
Review for Conagra Foods, Inc ORVILLE WHITE KERNELS - 1 year, 9 months ago
Pops fast and evenly and a true white kernel. Less calories than buying pre-popped and my husband loves that he can add whatever he wants to his. Just got clearanced near us so may be harder to find now.
Review for Guild Wars 2 Video Game - 1 year, 9 months ago
Looking for a friendly community then GW2 is the game for you. Looking for a casual mmo that you can still have a family and friends and not feel like you are missing out? Yep GW2 can offer you that as well. Overall GW2 is a well polished game and they have one of the best companies handling their customer relations(ArenaNet) so they actually listen to complaints and change accordingly. That being said in the last year they have added raids which is good and bad it is good for people beggingg for end game content but bad since previously GW2 was a game that you could rave was very casual. As long as you do not feel that end game drive you will enjoy GW2. It is very cash shop heavy with costumes but you do not have to spend a single cent to have everything in the game you can buy it all by converting in game gold to gems. The have some fantastic costumes, a lot of classes and a very good amount of dynamic events across all maps. In fact their world exploration is one of the best for an MMO. I play a ton of MMOs and have for more than 15 years and I would still hands down recommend GW2 to anyone that needs something casual friendly. Sometimes I do get bored with GW2 but I just take a break for a few months and when I come back I am right back to playing like I never left because the game is that casual friendly! People are always willing to help and there is a ton of stuff you can do from running dungeons, farming money, playing dress-up, playing instruments or just afk-ing in town. Also their holiday events are spectacular and I cannot wait for the Halloween one right around the corner!
I played FF11 for more than a decade and when FF14 came out I gave it a chance because who doesn't love updated graphics? Well it is easy to learn and has a lot of customization and cute outfits(major draws) and it eventually developed a decent amount of end game content to keep me interested(Coil anyone?). However for some reason this game just does not hold the appeal to me that FF11 once did and I tend to play in 6 month cycles. I play for 6 then leave for 6 then come back for 6 and repeat. In terms of community you will hear people say they have a good community and you will hear people say they have a bad one. If you are looking for something more casual with a very friendly community I highly recommend GW2 if you are looking for something with a lot of character depth(you can play every single class on one character and really develop) then FF14 is for you. They have a lot of neat features like housing and what not and mounts and even a new expansion but overall the sub fee really turns you off. They charge a sub then charge fees to have extra retainers to store stuff and it just goes on and on. On top of that the PS4 version is much worse than PC because the PS4 simply cannot load as fast as custom PC. It never will be able to so sometimes when participating in certain events you will load slow or the monster will and you will not get credit for certain things. Overall the game is decent enough but I really think the era of sub fees and pay 2 play(buy the game) are over. They need to choose one or the other. This game does have the best crafting system of any MMO I have played to date though. It is my single biggest draw and when I left I was well in the 1% of the richest players across all servers.(I have a fair amount of experience and play time in this game)
