Review for boscia Cactus Water Moisturizer - 1 month, 1 week ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 2
This product was a product I didn't know I needed until I used it. I like the mint green packaging, and that it comes with an applicator, however, I do wish that there was an insert on the packaging where I could put the spoon (much like the Tatcha creams). The formula is gel-like, and a little does go a long way. It's not heavy on the skin or feels greasy. It's easy to blend into the skin, and it gives you a slight glow and instant softness. I think it's the perfect moisturizer for oily skin; however, I believe that those with drier skin wouldn't enjoy this as much. I'm not a huge fan of the scent.

Review for: 150 Naked more...
The shade range of this product was quite disappointing to me, there are only 12 shades, and they don't seem to have many variations in them. However, I did like the packaging. Using the sponge applicator that it comes with gives you a very sheer, BB cream like finish in my opinion and is very hard to build up. I would recommend using your fingers and or a damp beauty sponge to get the most buildable coverage out of this product. This product doesn't dry down entirely matte and still makes your skin look real. However, I did find a light fragrance which is odd because it says it's fragrance-free. That didn't bother me much because I liked the smell, so if you have sensitive skin, it will irritate your skin (which it did to mine). I wish the product didn't break me out because the product looked so lovely on the skin. This post was sponsored by Almay® as part of a sampling activation for Crowdtap. I received complimentary products to facilitate my review.

Review for Clairol Nice 'n Easy Hair Color - 5 months, 1 week ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 2
I've always wanted to dye my different hair colors but been afraid of damage since I have such long hair and intense chemical scents make me nauseous and sick. However, I decided to take the risk and try with Clairol Nice 'n Easy, and my world has changed. They have many variations and different colors with different undertones so finding new and different shades that are guaranteed to fit you is easy. They have allergy gentle formula which makes it fantastic and a lot safer than most hair dyes, and it's not messy at all because it has a creamy non-drip texture, so there's no stained bathroom sinks or tubs for once! Luckily for me, there's a fresh floral scent that just smells like spring in a bottle and leaves your hair smelling great too! The dye didn't damage my hair like I had feared because it has damage blocking technology and conditioners at every step, which made my hair feel softer than I began with at the start! I loved this hair dye and will repurchase every time I decide to change my look and highly recommend it to others!

Review for Garnier Whole Blends Honey Treasures Repairing Mask - 6 months, 3 weeks ago
Based off of first impressions, The texture of it was very cooling, it wasn't mousey or thick but it wasn't watery. It smelled more like floral vanilla than anything. As soon as I applied it, my damaged hair felt like it got thicker and fuller. It says to use it for 2-3 minutes but I kept it on for five. After I rinsed it out and blow dried my hair, I realized my split ends weren't as crazy as they usually are. It made my hair softer and look darker in color. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs to help their hair grow/heal.
Review for Lancôme Définicils High Definition Mascara - 9 months, 2 weeks ago

I love this mascara for the days I want my lashes to be long and wispy. At first I was unsure of the formula because it was like liquid but I soon learned it’s a good thing. It just coats the lashes so nicely and since it’s more liquidy than most mascaras, it’s very buildable and you can get POW lashes. I also like that this mascara has a big wand because it’s easier for me to curl my lashes with the mascara (major makeup tip) and do more lashes.

I love the Maybelline Baby Lips products so much! They work amazing and leave the lips feeling so soft! I have been using this product ever since it launched and use it on the go all the time. The tinted shades are so perfect for those no makeup makeup days.

Review for NYX HD Finishing Powder Banana - 10 months, 2 weeks ago

I actually had bought this product in the translucent shade but for some reason they didn't have this product on Influenster. I bought this so I can set my makeup and not have flashback but it failed me. The powder is very soft but it leaves a white film to the skin and it does not blend out whatsoever. I feel like if it could, the product would be so much easier to work with and at least usable in the day time. If you're very fair then this might just work for you.

It swatches nicely it looks very pigmented a little to pigmented. But then you blend it out on the skin and it turns out to be this nice almost metallic glow. My problem with this is that yes you can build it up but it takes so so so much effort to build it up. You have to press and dig deep so hard to get any color payoff at all. It just isn’t worth the hassle. It does make a beautiful eyeshadow and inner corner highlight.

Review for L.A. Colors 18 Color Eyeshadow Palette - 10 months, 3 weeks ago

Review for: L.A. Colors Eyeshadow Medium Multi-color .7 oz more...
It’s sort of a hit or miss with some of the shadows in this palette. Some are super pigmented and look lovely swatched and others flake and fall apart. It’s super easy to blend. The problem I have is that it fades so so fast and if you blend even the tiniest bit too much you just messed up all the work you put in. For the price it is reasonable but I would pay a dollar or two more for the packaging to be better (a little heavier I like weight on my products it makes it feel more expensive) and the smell is kinda chemically.
