This is another one of our faves. My son didnt seem to have an issue with this bottle. I was able to switch him back and forth between my breast and this bottle. I think it has a lot to do with the shape of the nipple on this bottle. It is very similar to my own.
We love this bottle! Moreso because our son loves it. Milk comes out slow in this bottle. When I weaned him off of breastfeeding, it was the perfect bottle to use because the nipple is similar to mine. I never had a problem switching him back and forth from breast to bottle because it was so similar to my breast.
For some odd reason, a lot of the similac varieties I yried made my son spit up quite a bit. It was like he couldnt hold it down. This was the same. It didnt seem to be better or worse than any of the other ones that we tried.
I love how thin their pads are because it didnt hug my nipple to the point whereit felt like my bra was pushed up again my nipples and soaked, but i hated the adhesive backing, it never stayed in place.
I like the medela pads, they provided security and dryness for my nipples. However, I wish the pads weren't so thick especially for daytime wear. It always felt like my nipples were sweating in conjunction to the breastmilk leaking. Their adhesive worked pretty well. They stayed where they were supposed to.
When we first started him on this, he couldnt stop spitting up. Maybe it was because he was more used to breastmilk which was a lot thinner in consistency. As he got older (he is three months now). The spit up lessened. This formula is created to make their poop resemble that of a child who is being breastfed. At first, I thought it was making him have diarrhea because his stool was so watery, but it has regularly been seedy and slightly loose, which I think is normal.
These bags stand up when filled. I like that it is sterile and there is a spot where you can put the amount of ounces alomg with the date. What I didnt like was like was that the measurements on the bag were not accurate because the bag needed to fill up in order for it to be accurately read as 1 oz. Other thab that, they froze up well. I dont think it got any frost bite. The upside is that they lay flat too in the freezer
I love this product so much that I can't even begin to describe it. First, let's start with how my skin typically is. I have normal to oily, combination skin - particularly in my T zone areas. That being said, I get 6 or 7 pimple breakouts about every month in total. This product smells kind of like coconut at first. It doesn't foam that much, but it works great. When I first tried it, I thought it was too gentle on my face to be doing anything for it. However, after I rinsed, my face felt sooo smooth and so clean, it was a wonderful feeling. That being said, I would like to mention that halfway through my face exfoliating, the product kind of reminded me of the smell of play-doh; I think it might be due to the fact that it's supposed to be similar to the clay mask. It's not a strong smell, but you can definitely smell it. If you're ever in the market for a product that not only works but is gentle on the face and doesn't break you out, give this baby a try. It's so worth the money!
