This is a thick cream, but it didn't break me out. It does have a scent which doesn't bother me. This is great for dry skin on the face all year round, especially the winter. I have repurchased this and would recommend trying it! This is one of my favorite products from Sephora.
I have been using this cleanser with my Clarisonic to remove makeup. This makes my face feel clean, but not dry. There is a scent to it, but it doesn't bother me. This is a good cleanser for everyday use. I would buy this again and recommend trying it out! This is one of my favorite products sold at Sephora too.
Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Vitamin C Collagen Boaster
I bought this after I tried samples and loved it! This product smells citrusy, which I like. It also absorbs into the skin and doesn't just sit on top and leave a sticky feeling on the skin. I feel like this helped lighten my dark spots from acne, especially when used after the Personal Microderm. I like that this has a pump, but to get every little bit out, I had to turn the bottle upside down, twist off the pump, and pour the collected product onto my fingers. This product got me into serums and I have repurchased this already, so I highly suggest this product.
Nair Hair Removal Lotion (Softening Baby Oil) Again, once I couldn't find Veet's hair removal cream for the body that I liked (the rose scented one), I found this by Nair which I like just as much. First of all, this doesn't stink like many other hair removal creams. Secondly, it does remove body hair. I use this in between epilating my arms and armpits. I also use it on my legs. I leave it on for about 10 minutes in the shower and then rub it off my skin under water. Speed of hair regrowth is different for each person, so I don't think that makes a product like this bad.
This review is for the honee formula strips, NOT the lavender and vanilla ones.
After Veet discontinued my favorite wax strips for the face, I had to find a new one I liked. I tried wax stripes by Sally Hansen, but really disliked them. These Gigi strips are very similar if not the same exact as the Veet ones I liked. I currently use these in between getting my face threaded at the salon. I cut the strips in half vertically and use the smaller rectangle pieces for my upper lip and above my eyebrows. When I do my cheeks and the rest of my face, I don't cut the strips and use them whole. In the box of 12 strips, you can get about 24 applications. Since they are waxed together, once you warm a strip in your hand and separate it, you can use the one strip for 2 areas. I also keep using the same strip until it looses its stickiness. The lotion that comes with it is good for removing any extra wax left on the face. I've also used coconut oil which is also a good alternative to remove wax!
I love these face wipes! They do NOT burn my eyes and removes a lot of makeup. Because I want my skin to be extra clean, I use face wipes first to remove my makeup then follow it up with my Clarisonic and a face wash to make sure I get a deep cleanse and removed everything. All the wipes stay moist in the 25 pack, which is great. These wipes can also be easily ripped in half to get more use ;) Highly recommend!
I like to use Jolen cream bleach in between getting my whole face threaded at the salon. I usually leave the mixture on my face for about 10 minutes and wipe it off with warm water and a face towel. It does make my eyes water a bit because it has a strong bleach scent, but I can tolerate it. This is great for shaping the brows without removing brow hairs ;) Jolen cream bleach makes my dark hair less noticeable the next day and my skin look a little brighter. This comes with a spatula and little mixing tray too which is helpful.
Whenever I have about an hour to watch a movie or have a YouTube marathon, I like to soak my nails in a denture cleanser. Since people from BD eat a lot of curry and rice with their hands, my nails on my right hand turn yellow after a while. I obviously don't like the look, so I found out that denture cleanser take away stains even on nails! Soaking each hand for about 30 minutes does the trick ;) I would recommend trying this if you have a similar issue!
I bought a set of Olay body washes around the winter holidays and this became my favorite from the 3! This comes out green, but I love the fresh citrusy scent and how cooling it is on my skin. This also makes me feel nice and clean after I use it in the shower :p
