I am a curly girl with type 2b/2c natural wavy hair. I love using botanical hair products that are sulfate and silicone free! I am new to the curly girl method and love trying out old and new sulfate and silicone free hair products.
This oil is great for DIY body butters, hair products, and I use it for hygiene reasons when breast feeding. The smell of this products is amazing and the quality is even better. It never goes bad either. I want to try using it as a deep conditioner some time soon and see how that turns out for my hair.
I think I like this masque more than the manuka honey masque just because it contains more protein. With the manuka honey masque it's good for if my hair has ever gotten extremely dry, but my hair tends to get over moisturized pretty easily, so I need protein in my routine. This masque does wonders. The smell isn't as great as the manuka masque, but the results and texture I like a lot better.
My husband and I both LOVE this stuff, if we could get a life time supply, we would. It makes your lips feel so moisturized, protected, and tingly from the peppermint oil. I almost want to say it would make your breath smell good just cause of the peppermint oil. haha but it really is the best ingredients, even if it tends to lean toward the more pricey side, I'd say the quality is worth the price.
I love the ingredients, price, and color. But it felt a little too greasy on my lips for my liking. But maybe that's just how balms are supposed to be and I am just more of a shimmer and chapstick and lipstick kind of girl. I wouldn't really buy it again, but if it was gifted to me or someone was giving it away, I'd totally take it.
I love this hair masque! The smell, price, and ingredients are all good things. I use it about once a week, and leave it in for about 30 minutes. I have 2b/c wavy hair and feel it is only effective if left on for longer than 15 minutes. It is very hydrating if kept on for a long period of time. No sulfates or silicones which I LOVE about this brand! Definitely has a better smell than the shea moisture raw shea butter hair masque. But just as effective. SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque w/ Sea Kelp & Argan Oil
I love this cowash, I have not used anything else except this one. It still has nice cleansing properties, but doesn't suds up which I like. Completely sulfate and silicone free for a decent price too! Love the botanical type ingredients. And the smell is amazing, but smells more fruity than coconut-y. I'm not a huge fan of the fact that it's in a tub instead of a bottle but I can live with it. Very moisturizing and this is the only thing I need to wash when I co-wash, don't even need conditioner afterwards.
I LOVE this shampoos smell and level of lather. It is the perfect amount of lather and cleans my hair and scalp thoroughly enough without drying it out. I also use it on my one year olds hair, who has fine 2b/c hair. It leaves such a good smell in her hair. I also love the natural botanical ingredients and hint of rosemary. I use this with the cantu conditioner, and it works great. Cantu Shea Butter For Natural Hair Hydrating Cream Conditioner I still have yet to try the conditioner from this line. But I can't wait to try it!
I really like the smell of this product and all the botanical type ingredients that are good for my hair. I love that it is sulfate and silicone free though! But as far as moisturizing goes, doesn't quite give it enough moisture or hold to last all day for my type 2b/c wavy hair. It is moderately affordable. The sprayer nozzle is not meant to be directly sprayed on the hair for it sprays in a direct stream instead of misting. And it works best when sprayed into your hand then applied to hair, which is a process I'm just not a huge fan of.
I think this is a great sulfate free clarifying shampoo. It smells great, and it suds up even without sulfates. I still feel like whatever makes it suds up is still a little too drying for my hair, but it's great when you really need a good cleaning, but don't want to use sulfates.
