Mac lip pencils are typically always bomb. Certain limited collections have had very dry formulas but for the most part they're great. The shade in particular I chose to review is my favorite as it looks like my own lip color and doesn't look like I'm wearing liner at all.
Her color choices are bomb, but I'm very frustrated with the brand to be honest. They use the same development labs as Colourpop and their matte lip formula is practically the same. For them to charge the same prices as a high end brand is just absolutely absurd to me.
So I've tried several shades of this lip product, and let me be the first to say that the affordability of Colourpop products is out of this world. My only gripe is that the satin matte products are very drying, and the only real solution is to wear lots of lip balm at the cost of losing longevity of wear.
Yooooo do not sleep on this product. For its price point, it definitely does the job, and I love spraying it in between layers of makeup to ensure my skin doesn't crease or succumb to lack of moisture.
I have it in the shade 'Comfort' and it's a nude matte shade that leans a bit more on the deep mauve brown side. It's a standard price, but it's my current go to because it goes with such a large variety of makeup looks, especially if you do neutral toned makeup often.
I LOVE THIS LIPGLASS COLOR PLEASE BRING IT BACK!! I got it when it was on limited release, and the glitter pigment in this shade is absolutely beautiful, and it's a cute hot pink that is perfectly transparent enough to showcase a significant variety of other shades.
Of the colors I was sent to try, this one is easily my favorite. I've never really been confident enough to rock a bright firetruck red, but after trying this out, I have no doubts in my mind that I can make it work!
