I'm a little underwhelmed by these brushes. I own several of the KVD individual brushes and those seem much better quality than these. While the brush heads are super soft and dense I'm unhappy at how lightweight and plastic these feel. For $125 (which was supposed to be a discounted price according to KVD) I expected more. Also the head of my big powder brush appears to be glued on a bit crooked so I'll need to take in to the store to exchange or perhaps even return.
I own five of these. It all started with that one shade being on sale for $10, and my lips looked fuller. I was shocked and delighted and promptly hopped on the plumper wagon. The colors are lovely--I do reapply throughout the day because they don't stay forever, but that doesn't bother me as I like the tingle. Sometimes I will tell co-workers "My lips are tinkling!" Because I enjoy the sensation and have to express my joy with ridiculous expressions. Feel free to steal that one. The lighter colors require more of a slathering application than the darker shades for the color to show up. I enjoy these lip polishes! The bright red especially.!!
This palette is okay. The quality is good enough and there is a really beautiful assortment of colors. If you have another colorful Kat VonD palette you might want to skip, the only shade I thought was really different and impressive is that really intense green shimmer. The packaging was disappointing. I love the drawing on the front, but the plastic feels a little cheap. I was just expecting it to feel more substantial and it doesn’t. It does have a huge mirror. My palette was from her site directly and was missing two shades, they just hadn’t glued them in!!
The packaging is nice but the color is too bright. It also turns kind of bright pink on my lips after awhile. It goes on slightly patchy but not too bad. Definitely need a liner with this lipstick. It’s just ok to me. Not very 10 year anniversary worthy in my opinion.!!
I am OBSESSED with this balm. I have very dry lips and have tried so many lip balms, treatments, and masks. This one, along with their Rose Sugar Lip Treatment, is my all time favorite. It provides deep hydration while having long staying power- I put it on before bed and when I wake up it is still there! When using this balm my lips actually look plumper because they're so hydrated. I like this more than the Sugar Advanced Lip Therapy Treatment and so much more than Bite Beauty's Agave Lip Mask, both of which are more expensive for the same amount of product. As an added bonus, the coconut smell is amazing! So yummy and not at all artificial smelling or overpowering. I was nervous about the scent because although the caramel scent of the other Hydrating Lip Balm smells exactly like caramel, it was too sweet smelling for me, but this one is perfect. I wish this wasn’t limited edition they need to make this one permanent!!!
This is hands down the best spray I have ever used. I used to love the UD All Nighter but it doesn’t compare to this one at all. The spray on this bottle is the most gentle mist you can imagine not to mention it kept me from getting greasy and held my makeup together working a 12 hour shift. You need this in your life
The first time I used it I didn't like it, but I wasn't applying it thick enough and I didn't know what to expect. Got this as a deluxe sample or in a favorites pack, and now I'm ordering the full size, for sure. Apply it thick to form a solid layer, let it dry *completely*, keep your face still-ish the whole time, and then when it's time to peel it off, just make faces to loosen up the edges and you should be good to start peeling. If it's stinging your eyes and you haven't put it near your eye, it's the vapor (probably the which hazel, etc) coming off of the product as it dries (the liquid is evaporating!). I just use a magazine insert or something to fan my face a little if the going gets sting-y.
I like this product, but I had some difficulty applying it. You really have to layer it to get what it looks like in the photo, but once you complete that, you let it sit for thirty minutes to take it off. In those thirty minutes, make sure to not touch your face, because it's super sticky, and then there are ripples in the mask and/or holes. This product pulls off like a charcoal mask, but I feel as though it doesn't work as well. It leaves the skin feeling soft though, and the pink is super cute. I would recommend this as a regular face mask, but I don't think I would recommend this as a substitute for a charcoal one.
As someone with seriously dehydrated skin, I’ve been on the lookout for a hydrating setting spray. I love this one! I really like the Cover FX Illuminating Setting Spray for the overall glow it gives but found it didn’t pack the drink of water my thirsty skin desired...this new formula is just what I needed to finish my makeup and leave my skin looking dewy! The ultra-fine mist is a huge bonus for me too.
