I'm a travel and lifestyle blogger, retired librarian, and ex-flight attendant. I was born in the Philippines but call San Diego my home. I have a loving and attentive husband, caring and successful children, a grandson I adore, three indoor cats, and I take care of a feral colony of 13 cats. I believe in paying it forward to make communities better. I love fashion, makeup and fragrances. I used to work for Macy's as a Michael Kors Specialist and as a representative for Clarins Skincare, both of which I loved. Currently, I am a tour escort and love taking groups of people to faraway places. It brings me joy! I suffer from a disease called lupus, so I'm always looking for balance in my life to avoid stress and to keep a happy attitude. Being happy and fulfilled is good!
Every time I need to hydrate and rehydrate, I reach for a bottle of Fiji water. I'm telling you that, without a doubt, you can taste the difference from other brands of bottled water. The taste is fresh, crisp and clear. It's so clean. I can't get enough of it!
We have the AT&T wireless and U-verse internet, We were having not-so-good issues with another major company. The cable network on our TV would go dark, especially when it came to purchasing OnDemand. We waited many months for AT&T U-verse to come to our neighborhood. All in all, the products are great, and customer service is superb. AT&T helped us out a lot when we went abroad, in both Italy and China. They literally saved the day for us.
CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion was prescribed to me by my dermatologist. I had a medical grade dermabrasion on my face, and when applied correctly, it kept my face hydrated at a safe level and helped my skin heal well. I also noticed a nice "cool" sensation when I applied CeraVe to the skin.
I enjoy my visits to DSW. The staff is very helpful, and they work hard to keep the floor free of shoes left by shoppers. I appreciate that. The shoe and handbag selection is wide and varied. Don't forget to go to the sales racks. Some of my best shoes are found there!
I made a trip to Target yesterday, the first time in a long, long time. Like for over a year, I think. I'd been doing a lot of clothes shopping on-line with Target and other retailers and didn't feel the need to get to an actual store for that. But yesterday, it felt wonderful to go through those doors! I found so many great buys. I meant to buy one thing and came out for two yoga pants, a yoga top, a cool Marilyn Monroe limited edition T-shirt, health & beauty items and snacks! You can't go into Target to buy just one thing. Impossible!
CVS is my favorite quick-shop store. My store is next to a Vons. When I need a handful of items, I'll head over to CVS because I know I won't have to walk too far to get to the aisles I want, and the lines aren't long. If I intend to buy maybe five items, I end up spending almost $100 on some of my trips to the store. There's always those two or three more items that I decide I need!
I like to pack small-size snacks when I travel. With these chocolates, I don't feel so bad slowly eating these on my long flights, just because it's sugar-free! I also put a bag of these in gift baskets for my diabetic family and friends. Oh, did I say that these taste real good? Because they do!
Aquaphor is like pure gold. This is great for healing very dry skin for the body and for the face. This product was recommended to me by my dermatologist after I had a facial chemical peel. Aquaphor heals the skin. I use it everyday for dry hands and feet, too. You can buy this product in a tub or a tube. I always keep a tube in my handbag.
