A little pricier than I'm used to, but that's because IT WORKS! It works to heal the skin rather than "moisturize" for a little while.. Most drug store moisturizers are just a temporary fix.. They do not work to correct the problem or heal skin.. This foundation does. Makes my skin feel beautiful and soft (I normally have VERY dry skin). It does not irritate my sensitive skin. A little bit goes a long ways! And it allows my foundation to go on smoothly without sticking to dry patches on my face.
L.O.V.E. This. Brush! My makeup went on smoothly, no streaks, no flaking my dry skin. It blends so well! I was using an E.L.F. Sponge before buying this brush. After a Sephora beauty consultant used it on me, I HAD to buy one. My husband would KILL me if he knew what I had spent on it... But it's worth it!

Wow! A wonderful foundation! My face has NEVER looked this way. I originally ordered KVD Matte foundation but had to return it bc it looked AWFUL on my dry skin! The beauty consultant at Sephora told me that this foundation would be perfect for my dry skin bc it's not super heavy, it's not matte, and it is infused with coconut oil. She put it on and WOW. none of it stuck to my dry skin. It did not leave a splotchy look! It blended so well! And it is oil free so obviously it didn't feel oily on my skin! If you have dry skin, this is the foundation for you!! It also helps to apply a GOOD moisturizer prior to applying. I've always had an issue finding a PERFECT match for my skin color.. This matches me SO well. My neck is also a little darker so I had to bring it down my neck too. But it matches my face, neck, and chest beautifully! Photos: before applying, after applying, and after applying ELF bronzer, KVD setting powder, and Maybelline matte lip color.

Sets foundation well. Tried using it to bake and highlight under my eyes, etc.. Idk if my face is too white to begin with or what bc I can't tell a difference.. Got a mini from Sephora and it's quite a bit of product.
I wanted SO badly for this foundation to work for me. My very first high end foundation. It just was not the foundation for me. I would have rated it a 2, but it is a great FULL coverage foundation. Just NOT for DRY SKIN. 1st of all, I bought online so I ended up ordering a shade incredibly too dark for me. I drove an hour to our closest Sephora store to return it and get help from a consultant to find the right shade for me. First question from her "Are you really SET on KVD? It's a very heavy foundation and you do not look like you need something that heavy. And it is a matte finish, Which is the main reason it is sticking to your dry skin" She set me up with another, lightweight, coconut oil infused, medium-full coverage foundation and WOW. The difference in the two is insane! For dry skin, I'd rate the foundation a 1-2. Try something different! For regular-oily skin.. 3-4. Give it a try! Photo is with the KVD foundation on.. Just did not work for me and my dry skin. Can't tell in photo but I have orange dry skin spots ALL over my face. As u can tell, it is not the right color for me by comparing my face color to my chest. 😳
I received a sample from Sephore, including Golden Light, Golden Medium, and Golden Deep. Golden light was closest to my skin color. I received the sample with my new Kat Von D foundation I ordered. Both claim to be full coverage matte foundations. I put them side by side on my wrist.. Golden Light was pretty close to the KVD shade- Medium 54 Neutral. But there was a noticeable difference in coverage. KVD had a fuller coverage, but Milk had a decent coverage, more natural look. I think that's what they were going for. Beautiful colors, lightweight.. From the sample I can tell that it is a great product. I just have a hard time paying $40 for foundation. It pained me to spend $35 on KVD. Hoping it was worth it!
I absolutely love this product! I ordered a sample using a promo code with Sephora. Since it was a sample, it didn't have a case but rather rapped in plastic, I tore the plastic accidentally instead of tearing off the sticker to just open a small hole, so I just had to put it in an old moisturizer lid. Perfect fit! My brushes are so clean and soft, feel and look brand new, and smell SO good. OH I wish I would have taken a picture of my beauty blender before cleaning, but it looks like it's NEVER been used now! The blender was like $3-$5 so I had just planned on throwing it out and buying a new one because I'm switching foundations. But this cleaned every single bit of foundation out of the blender! Definitely a must have item!
Guys, I've had this foundation FOR YEARS! And I use it all the time. A little bit goes a LONG way. It's not a full coverage powder, but I used it on top of my liquid foundation to give more of a matte airbrush look and create more of a natural color. So affordable and so worth it.
