First off, let me start by saying the shades are all gorgeous. They range from nude to peach to pinky nude. They are a good combo of cream and nude, sort of a unique gloss and I haven't come across any other glosses like this. I love that they are non sticky too! My issue is that they are not long wearing, like someone else said in a review, as long as you don't eat or drink, they last about an hour on the lips. And they do apply sort of streaky, so I have to go over my lips with the wand to make sure the gloss does not look patchy and your lips need to be exfoliated, otherwise the glosses emphasize every crack or flakey skin on the lips. My last issue is that they are not sold separately! My favorite of them all is Kim, a light peachy nude color (see my picture). I'd buy this gloss over and over if I could! Out of all them, Kimberly is the only shade that sort of washes me out but I try to pair that with a darker lipliner. Other than that, they are lovely shades but keep in mind if you like long wearing glosses, these are not it.
After searching high and low for months, I finally found this highly sought after facial spray! It is exactly how described on here by many: smells amazing, pretty and simple packaging, inexpensive, and feels great on the skin. I use it mainly as a setting spray but since I do not have much experience with a variety of sprays (except for the UD Spray), I'd have to say this is a good one to have based on what I described above. It does not cause me to break out and helps set my makeup for the day as well as hydrate it. I'd totally rebuy and will need to restock (whenever I find it again since it is always sold out!)
I really wanted to love this gloss. I purchased this at a Walgreens in Vegas and fell in love with the shade! It's the perfect neutral pink with a hint of shimmer. My reason for 3 stars is 1) I can't get past the strong smell. It's overly sweet but also a bit chemically, almost like paint and 2) it is a very dry and thick gloss. When I apply, it is a little hard to spread around on your lips with the applicator but once you can get the product to spread, the shade is beautiful on the lips. But I can't get past the smell and can even taste it so I had to get rid of this gloss. I would say the shade I got (Babydoll) is a dupe for the Milani Amore Shine Lipgloss in Beige Shimmer Nude but half the price and without such a strong smell. For those reasons, I would not repurchase this gloss. On my picture, i swatched the gloss (top swatch is when first applied, you can see it applies thick and a bit goopy but bottom swatch is when the gloss is sheered out)
I received this product through Influenster to try and review and was pleasantly surprised at how this micellar removed my makeup! I had never used a micellar water before and this just removed ALL my makeup in one sweep. That was what I liked that I did not have to double cleanse as I am rather lazy and hate to double cleanse. Although I prefer gel cleansers to wash my face, this is a great affordable option that can be purchased just about anywhere and even while traveling so I like that it is accessible on many levels. I may repurchase in the near future after I finish up some other cleansers I currently have.
I recently picked up a trial size sample of this cleanser through my Sephora points and very much enjoyed using it. It's a gel cleanser that lathers up very well with just a small amount (dime size) and left my face feeling and looking squeaky clean! It even removed my eye makeup without irritating my eyes. Did I mention the scent? It smells like eucalyptus and felt refreshing to me. I can't say I noticed a decrease in oil as it claims to do but my face did feel and look really good after I used this cleanser. I wasn't expecting to like this product much but I really did and will probably purchase a full size in the future once I get through some other cleansers.
Review for: NEXXUS® PROMEND LEAVE-IN CRÈME FOR HAIR PRONE TO SPLIT ENDS more...
I am really bad at trimming my hair. In fact, I am going on 6 months without cutting my hair and know that is why my hair grows back very slowly. I also use heat styling quite often so a coworker with gorgeous long, silky hair recommended this to me after I asked what she used to get her hair so shiny. I bought this immediately when she recommended it to me. Have I seen an improvement in split ends? Not really BUT when I use this on my hair, I see it less frizzy and more shiny and smooth. It also smells amazing! I use it after I wash my hair when it is still damp (not dripping wet and not dry either) I always let my hair air dry and just rub this through the ends and brush my hair. Next morning I can feel a difference in texture with my hair and it still smells nice. I'd definitely repurchase this product because I love how soft my hair feels afterwards.
My reason for giving this lotion 4 stars is the scent! I looooove how it smells! It reminds me of Fall for some reason, and someone best described it as almost nutty like (which I never would have thought of but that it is a great description!) For me, I personally found the scent to be somewhere between Cocoa Butter and Vanilla and Shea Butter, but it is described as "Pistachio Caramel" I heard? Anyways, I've read some reviews say the scent can be a bit overpowering, which I agree but don't mind at all. The scent lingered on my skin well into the next day after applying BUT my reason for not giving it 5 stars is the price. I find it to be an overhyped product that does not tighten the skin's appearance as it claims. Does it hydrate? Yes, but a drugstore lotion can deliver that as well for much cheaper. I also liked that it is not greasy, but the price is a bit much for me. I was lucky enough to receive this in my Boxycharm a few months back but I can't justify the lotion enough to buy it full size. I'll stick to my Vaseline Cocoa Butter lotion LOL
One of the best matte primers out there. I used this for years before I decided to branch out and try other primers (not because I didn't like it) but to switch up my makeup routine and try other brand's primers to compare. I wouldn't necessarily say this is super long wearing but I think that depends on the foundation it is paired with. For example, with my Bare Minerals Original Loose Mineral Foundation, this primer and foundation combined is not a long wearing combo for me. But with a liquid foundation, I found my makeup stayed smooth all day with out much breakdown As an oily skinned person, I think this product held up nicely with most liquid foundations throughout the day, but I found with mineral and pressed powders, this combo did not pair well at all. I'd still recommend and repurchase this in the near future as my skin never had a reaction to Tarte. Also, this primer will last you a VERY long time. Mine would last at least 1 year before having to repurchase.
I love facial oils and this one by Drunk Elephant is amazing! I got a mini set to try from Sephora because I prefer to try minis out to see if my skin doesn't have a major reaction and if i truly like them before investing in full size. This one makes my skin feel luxurious and leaves a healthy glow on my face. It really does what it says to do and i will be purchasing the full size as well. I don't believe in having too many facial oils and this one is lovely to have on your dresser or shelfie.
