Review for Guinness® Extra Stout - 3 weeks, 2 days ago
Guinness is my absolute favorite. I never would've pegged myself as a beer person, let alone a stout person, but I'm in love. I'll pick this up any chance I get!! The heaviness of the beer is offset by the crisp taste and I adore it!
Review for Toyota Yaris - 3 months, 3 weeks ago
I just bought a 2017 Toyota Yaris 5-Door L model a couple weekends ago. I love it, truly. I purchased the floor model, which had a nice paint job leaving it a sleek black and white. I like the compact size but roomy interior, which has the best of both a mini-van and a compact car. Because I bought the floor model, my car came with some additional features I wasn't necessarily looking for but appreciate all the same, like fancy black rims and an audio-control steering wheel that doesn't normally come with this model. The upsides are definitely the numerous safety features, ranging from plentiful airbags and excellent crash test results to lane-departure warnings and crash avoidance brake assist. The audio display panel and bluetooth capabilities is really cool, too, as before I just had a standard radio and CD-play (my car was a '94). The only thing I'm not really sold on with this car is the lack of power mirror abilities and cruise control. I've never used cruise control and I'm the only person who will be driving my car so these features weren't deal-breakers for me, but it's still weird to buy a brand new car in 2017 without them. It also doesn't come with an alarm system, keyless entry, or automatic start, which was kind of a pain, but I had them installed by a local body shop. All said, though, I'm very happy cruising around campus in my new ride! It's easy to handle and rides like a dream. It's a great car for someone like me who has a flexible lifestyle and is heading fullspeed into real adulthood.
Review for SinfulColors Professional Nail Color - 8 months, 1 week ago
First of all, Sinful Colors is an awful brand. Their colors chip, and the formula is sticky and hard to work with. For this line, I think the colors are little young for me, considering all the chunky sparkles. But what really solidified my dislike was the color I received- "Super Cooper." It is the ugliest color green I have ever seen. I wouldn't be caught dead with green nails anyway (it would look like I had an infection!), but this color is even worse with its huge iridescent sparkles illuminating puke green.
Review for Flash Tattoos Dakota - 8 months, 1 week ago
I am super not a fan of these. They look so cheap and like something a child would wear. I'm an adult, I have a REAL tattoo. They're also really expensive. Maybe if I was going to a music festival or something these would be alright, but otherwise I think they're just overrated, pointless, and too expensive.
Review for Next Step Fit N' Full - Cookies and Cream - 1 year, 5 months ago
Contrary to a lot of the reviews here, this was my favorite in the Revive VoxBox. I thought it was more of a shake than anything else, and have definitely considered purchasing it! It would be a great substitute for breakfast when I get to campus! (Got a sample of this product for free in my Revive VoxBox in exchange for an honest review)
Review for Plnt by the Vitamin Shoppe Vanilla Protein Powder - 1 year, 5 months ago
This product was very good! Being the first protein powder I had ever tried, I had no experience and very (negatively) biased expectations. I was so pleasantly surprised! I took it to work as a breakfast and felt like it was truly a treat. You could barely even tell that it was a supplement, it just felt like a breakfast shake. Would definitely purchase again. (Got a sample of this product for free in the Revive VoxBox in exchange for an honest review)
Review for BodyTech Whey Pro 24 Protein Powder, Strawberries & Cream - 1 year, 5 months ago
This was straight disgusting. I was very fond of the other powders that came in my VoxBox (which I received for free compliments of Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion) but one was very gross. It was incredibly strong in "vitamin" taste. It didn't feel like a luxury "work out" treat, it felt more like I was downing the thing of a body-builder's dream. I'll stick to more tasty powders from now on, thanks.
Review for MILK MAKEUP Lip Color - 1 year, 6 months ago
Review for: C.R.E.A.M. more...
This is the best dang lipstick in the world! It has a light, fruity scent, somewhat similar to BITE Beauty lipsticks. The formula is creamy, yet lasting, and it feels very pillow-y on. The thinner bullet size makes it easier to apply than a standard lipstick bullet. The packaging is also adorable and the price-tag is relatively affordable and certainly worth the quality of the product.
Review for Keurig K15 Coffee Maker - 1 year, 11 months ago
Foodie Expert Level 3
I have this system in teal for my dorm room! It's cute, stylish, and, most importantly, it kickstarts my day! Without the hassle of grounds and filters, I can pop a Keurig pod in while I'm getting ready for classes without having to wait a long time or clean up a mess! I love it!
I got this product free from Influenster to test and review. I like this mascara a lot, but I'm not sure if I would definitely 100% purchase it. It goes on pretty clumpy and doesn't always separate when I use my lash comb. The formula is very black, which is nice, but it does smudge quite a bit. The brush is very similar to the hourglass shaped Too Faced BetterThanSex mascara applicator, but it's smaller and stubbier. I originally liked it for its control, but it doesn't brush out the clumps the formula makes nearly as well as the BTS mascara, which is increasingly annoying and tedious. It also gets quite itchy/mildly flaky after about 8 hours of wear (I work for at least 8.5 hours every week day, so this can be pretty irritating to me). However, my eyes do "pop" and my lashes look fake when I use a primer under this mascara, so it does do what it claims. I loved it a lot in the beginning, but the charm has worn off.
