Love Shiner Bock and have for years. Only Bock I know of that's available year round but then it's not as creamy and a little lighter than a true bock. But that's what you want in the Texas heat. Not something that will fill you up and make you want to take a nap! Before the craft beer explosion, Shiner Bock was an original in a sea of blonds and darks.
Very drinkable rum. All the fruity drinks can be made with it and it's also sippable. Good price point. This is my go to rum and it's available in both sizes at most liquor stores. I am partial to golden rum but I don't find that it disturbs the color of my drinks.
Best blended whiskey. I actually prefer black to blue or their single malt. Black is a reasonable price point, smoother than red. OK for mixed drinks and sippable too, neat which is how I prefer it or on ice. You don't put ice in single malt but Johnny Black is like hanging out with an old friend who you don't have to pretend with.
A decent headache-free experience. Smooth and sippable and makes a terrific Margarita. Good price point for the quality. Not as well known as Patron but not as pricey either. Available at most liquor stores. I am a repeat customer during the summer.
Makes great mixed drinks. I like A citron and tonic, or a cosmopolitan. Vodka cranberry juice is also good with citron. A little boring to drink on it's own. I keep a bottle in the freezer always. Probably overpriced but other lemon vodkas just seem to hit you over the head with flavor. If I wanted limoncello I would buy it.
Nice crisp flavor. Not the smoothest but if you want some character in your gin, this a good one at a reasonable price point. I've bought it twice and once received it as a gift. With the metal label it makes a nice presentation. Good G&Ts!
