I wanted to love this. It's a great lightweight moisturizer, but you can smell the alcohol in it. My dehydrated aging combo skin just doesn't like a lot of alcohol in products. I might try it again this summer to see if it's a better summer fit for my skin.
F this crap. F it. F it. F it. It burns. It hurts. I don't have sensitive skin. All I can picture is the damage it's doing to my face and wonder if it's contributing to the microbeads that are destroying our environment. I'll stick to my konjac sponge for physical exfoliation and continue testing with chemical exfoliants that don't scratch your skin.
This is lanolin cream, and ridiculously overpriced lanolin cream at that. Lanisoh sells a 1.5 oz tube for $9. Save yourself a pink tax and run down to literally any baby section in most grocery stores or box stores and grab Lanisoh if this works for you. It does form a great barrier, since it's what is used to waterproof wool diaper covers. I personally think it's too thick for lips and prefer a good sugar scrub followed by Vaseline or coconut oil.
I used to love this stuff. Until I realized it was responsible for my dull, dry skin and closed comedones. Great smell. I'd keep it in cleaning products because it's too harsh for skin. Seriously. I have combo skin and big pores. My skin shouldn't shed because it's dry. I switched to a low ph cleanser and my skin has been transformed.
How do I love these let me count the ways. 1. They survived 12 hour server shifts in a greasy Steak 'n Shake with no smudging 2. They survived 115 degrees in DFW with humidity and no smudging 3. They almost survived my toddlers mouths.
Unless they've changed the formula in the last three years(don't judge y'all) these eyeliners are just awesome. Great pigment and fairly easy application for the beauty challenged like myself.
