I am a 36 year old woman who's been married for 15 years. I have an autistic son whole lights up my existence. I have an obsession for makeup and beauty care items. I also have a Bachelors of Science in Photography, am a stay at home mom, love my 5 dogs and 2 cats and use social media to destress.
Nice alternative to using really strong acne meds. Seems to help when you get a stray pimple or two but I wouldn't use it for all over your face. A nice alternative use for this is bug bites. I used it on a really bad mosquito bite and within about an hour it had disappeared.
Absolutely LOVE this polish! It goes on very smoothly and nice and opaque. There's no streaking. Each coat dries pretty quickly as well and with the Color Therapy top coat, I haven't experienced any chipping even after doing dishes and yard work. I'm wearing the color Pampered in Pink.
Absolutely the best drugstore makeup remover wipes! They get even waterproof makeup off and leave my skin feeling really clean. I took one star off because the blue pack does make my skin sting a bit around the eyes but I've discovered that the lavender pack does not do this and works just as well.
I am a coconut oil junky! Seriously, there are so many uses for it that work well. I use it as a weekly hair mask for my color damaged hair. I use it as a makeup remover at night that's super gentle and effective. I massage it into my skin after showers and I recently discovered it's healing abilities after my son burned himself pretty badly on his stomach. When the blister broke, we kept coconut oil on it for its antibacterial properties and it's healing nicely. Each of my dogs get a small spoon full every day to help with their skin and coat and my little boxer/chi gets a nightly massage with it to help with her dermatitis. Where she was once always bald and calloused from chewing and scratching, she now has great, shiny fur. I particularly like this brand due to its nice consistency and the coconut smell is more prominent than other brands I have tried. The price point is nice as well. I was able to pick up this jar for only $11 at Wal-Mart.
This is a great self tanner if you're looking for something at a drug store price and easy application. When using the product, here's some tips. First...cover your feet with an old towel! I didn't the first time I used it and my feet looked a mess! Ever walked into a bathroom after someone has used a whole bunch of hairspray and the floor is really sticky? Well, this is the same thing (without the stickiness). That aerosol will land on your feet and you'll end up with feet and toes 10x darker than the rest of your body. Use that towel to also wipe up afterwards because the floor, counters, etc. are going to be slippery. Everybody knows to fully exfoliate, shave, yadda yadda so I won't go into that. I will say that, even though this is an aerosol, you'll still need to run it in right away. Don't think you'll be able to just spray yourself down and walk away streak free with no patches. You still have to blend it. If I'm remembering correctly, you aren't supposed to spray this on your face, but, I'm a rule breaker. What I would do is spray my face and neck and then use an old beauty blender and blend it like a foundation to make sure my whole face was even. I took away a star because I'm not fond of the smell and for some reason the color was never consistent for me. One application could be nice and bronze but the next week could be Oompa Lompa.🤷
This has been my go-to toner for my blonde hair for years. The shade always comes out beautiful and I can control just how light I want it to be by the level of developer I use and it's very gentle on my fragile hair. The only downfall is that it does not cover gray. That isn't really to big of a deal for me because I'm naturally a medium blonde and my gray is more white so it blends in but I just wanted to throw that out there. The pic I included is the T18 using a 20 developer. If I use a 30 then it comes out lighter obviously.
I recently bought this as a quick replacement for my all nighter spray. I'm torn on whether it works or not. It seems to help keep my makeup set in certain areas but there are areas of my face that wear off that normally wouldn't with the all nighter such as my nose creases and chin. I'll have to give it some more tries but I definitely do not consider a dupe for something like Urban Decay.
First of all, I get a ton of compliments whenever I wear this lipstick (shade mulberry). It goes on very smooth and pigmented and does compliment a lot of skin tones. I have to use a lip liner (as I do with any bullet style lipstick) to prevent feathering and because this is such a deep shade, it's easy to show any mistakes. The only reason I took away a star is due to the fact that this is not a true matte in my opinion. It would be best to call it a Demi-matte. A true matte would show no shine and this does. Now I have not tried any other shades so it could be just this shade that doesn't dry down completely. It lasts a fairly decent amount of time but it certainly isn't transfer or smudge proof (I don't think it claims to be though).
When B&BW came out with this fragrance back in 2015 I fell in love! It is my absolute favorite summer scent and I was disappointed that they only came out with the handbac, hand cream and hand wash. I hoped they would release a body wash and spray the next summer. Alas, they did not. In fact, they even took away the hand cream. They did just release a new collection called At The Beach that smells nearly identical and it comes in all their products. The only downfall is that the scent doesn't seem to last long at all. Within an hour, it's barely noticeable unlike Honolulu Sun. The scent will remind you of coconuts and sun tanning oil. Literally. If that smell isn't to your taste then steer clear but for me, it epitomizes summer.
