If you love the trendy peach, coral, pink, gold, brown, mauve or burgundy eyeshadow palettes that have been released this year, but want an inexpensive dupe, this is your palette! It has all of the popular shades, and doesn't lack pigmentation. BH Cosmetics makes wonderful inexpensive makeup that is comparable to some high end brands! This palette has 5 blushes & 21 eyeshadow. Two of the blushes have matching eyeshadow. I like to use the lightest blush as an eyeshadow base. This is just beautiful palette! The BH Cosmetics website constantly has sales. You can also find select BH products at Ulta.
This this is by far the best cleansing oil I've tried! Removed makeup & unclogs pores. Where some makeup removers leave your skin tight and stripped of moisture until you fully cleanse & moisturizer, this cleansing oil actually treats your skin while removing those impurities. Allows your actual cleanser to work more efficiently when you precleanse with this oil. It's inexpensive, but super effective! Great for all skin types. I received a deluxe sample of this in an Allure Beauty Box. I enjoyed it so much that I have repurchased it 3 times now from the DHC website.

I received these KISS Couture Lashes in the style "Little Black Dress" complimentary to try out and review. They were included in my "Sparkle VoxBox". I've always wanted to try false eyelashes, but never got around to purchasing any. So this was a perfect opportunity to try them. Since they were included in a VoxBox, and I would need to write a review, I decided to try out a couple other brands and styles. I wore each pair, including these, several times throughout the course of a month. In the end, I really liked these complimentary lashes! First of all, this new Couture collection by KISS features their Faux Mink lashes. The lashes themselves are softer than the other lashes I tried. Also look most like my real lashes. Which made them blend in with my natural lashes beautifully! The style I received, "Little Black Dress", suited my personal style. Have the perfect amount of simplicity with a dash of glam! Really make the eyes "pop" and appear brighter. The lash band is thick, but I didn't have any issues with that. I fit the lashes to my eyelid, and trimmed off excess like usual. Then, to help work in the band, I wrapped the strips around the base of a pen for a few minutes. Found they were easier to work with after working the band in. Only took a couple minutes. With some of the other lashes I tried, the lashes would feel almost heavy & cumbersome. Some even felt scratchy on my brow bone. However, these faux mind lashes were comfortable to wear throughout the day, and the lashes themselves were soft. Overall, I quite enjoyed these, and will repurchase in the future. *One helpful tool I found out about while completing my voxbox task, is that KISS has an app you can download. In the app you can take a selfie, and it allows you to "try on" any of their lashes. So it's a great way to try before you buy!
This is my favorite brand of chili sauce to use to create some of my favorite recipes. Anytime a recipe calls for chili sauce, this is what I use. I have tried several other brands, but they're either too tangy, lack the right amount of flavor, or have a watery consistency. I like to make a "BBQ Ham" recipe, and use this to make the sauce. Gives the perfect flavor and thickness I need to compliment the other ingredients! If you've made a recipe with a different brand of chili sauce, and the recipe didn't taste right, try using this Heinz Chili Sauce next time! It may be the taste difference you were hoping for!
This review is for both the ELF Studio Crease Brush and the new ELF Studio Detail Crease Brush (since I can't find a product listing for the new Detail Crease Brush). If you're looking for a great quality crease brush, both of these are awesome! The regular Studio Crease Brush is your standard size crease brush. Like a small more narrow version of an eyeshadow blending brush that applies and blends out crease eyeshadow nice and soft. If you have this crease brush already, I would still recommend the Detail Crease Brush as well! They both have their own purpose for use. The Detail Crease Brush is half the width of the regular Crease Brush, and pretty much the same length. They both have less dense bristles so you don't pick up too much product at one time. Which is what it's suppose to do so you can build up your crease color without adding too much product at once, and ruining the look. The Crease Brush is used to add your transition colors in the entire crease. While the Detail Crease Brush is used for the corners to get a more precise application without looking muddy and overpowering the transition colors. Both are super soft and I've never had a problem with bristles falling out! Not to mention at $3 each, you can afford to add both to your makeup bag!
If you've been searching for the perfect contour brush, this is it! Out of both drugstore and high end brand contour brushes, this is by far the best I've found! For those of you that have used ELF brushes before, you know the quality of both their studio and beautifully bare lines of brushes. They're super soft, no fallout and just really well made. This brush is no exception. ELF definitely took into consideration the width and length of this brush making it a perfect fit for the contours of the face. It fits into the hollows of the cheeks, borders the forehead and jawline beautifully, and when tilted at an angle you can tightly contour the nose. The densely packed soft bristles apply contour to look natural, not harsh, when blended out. It's hard to describe the difference in how the contour appears when applied with this brush instead of others, other than saying it just looks smooth and almost airbrushed when blended out using this. Since the bristles are so dense, it picks up a good amount of product. So tap contour powder or cream pan lightly, and build up for more coverage if you want. Before applying powder contour, tap off excess powder. I have wanted to get this brush since it came out over a year ago. I only recently decided to give it a try. I fell in love after first use! Now that I've had more time to truly play with it, I had to share my thoughts with you all. For only $6 you can't go wrong! I was able to watch for sales and get mine cheaper. More and more retail stores and drugstores have started carrying some ELF products. So they're more accessible than ever. The ELF website has goods sales, and even offer 50% off sitewide every now and then.
I always would forget putting a SPF on my face. Now that I'm in my 30's I am more aware just how much my skin needs it. My issue was always that a decent moisturizer with SPF were uncomfortable. They felt thick, greasy, caused breakouts & sensitivity, and always felt like it was sitting on top of my skin. This Josie Maran Daily Moisturizer with SPF 47 came in a cleansing set. It has quickly become a staple in my skincare. Like all other Josie Maran products, it has argan oil, as well as other beneficial natural ingredients. Not harsh chemicals like most SPF moisturizers. With an SPF of 47, it has the highest face sun protection that I've seen. It is a thicker consistency since it does have sun protection. However, the natural ingredients allow it to absorb into the skin. So after a minute or so it feels lightweight. Though it comes out a white cream, like all SPF I've tried, it looks like a normal moisturizer once it's blended into your skin. The oils are truly hydrating, but not greasy. Again, right when you apply it, it will seem like it'll be greasy, but within a minute or so it'll feel lightweight. There are many pros to this product. It allows you to protect your skin and moisturize without layering multiple products. The fact it does both without harmful chemicals is something I look for in skincare products. I have sensitive skin, and haven't experienced any sensitivity with it. For daily use, I massage this into my face & neck right after cleansing my face, and allow it to absorb a few minutes before moving on to makeup. As far as photo flashback you get with other SPF products, I haven't experienced that with this moisturizer. That's not to say it definitely won't, but I personally haven't had an issue with that. I would recommend this to anyone. Even if you're in your early 20's and think you're too young to be worried about the effects of the sun. Trust me, you should be applying SPF. If you're trying to tan your skin, you should still have on some level of SPF!

Your lips need this!!! Especially if you have dry lips! Of course you wouldn't want to use this on cracked lips. In today's beauty world of liquid matte lipsticks, this product is a must have! I find my matte liquid lipsticks apply more evenly. Some of those matte lipsticks can accentuate every line in your lips. So on days I know I'm going to wear matte liquid lipstick, I'll use this lip scrub before taking a shower or right after. Afterwards, when I'm applying all of my skincare and moisturizers, I'll add a layer of ChapStick® Total Hydration 100% Natural* Honey Blossom to soak into my newly exfoliated lips to lock in hydration. Your lips will thank you!!! Or even if you just have dry tight lips in need of a good exfoliation. I have come to love how this has helped my lips that I now use it 2-3 times a week. I find I get the best results when I exfoliate before I'm ready to go to bed, apply a generous layer of lip balm, and allow it to fully absorb overnight. You will wake up with healthy, hydrated and smooth lips! Another tip I would recommend is while using the lip scrub stick go past your actual lip line. When doing my lip line I keep the lip line centered in the middle of this lip scrub stick so I'm not just stopping at the edge of my lip. Doing that has made a notable difference in fine lines that bordered my lips. I wouldn't go to crazy past the lips since this is a grainy hard scrub intended for your lips, not your face. If your lips are really dry starting out, I would apply a thin layer a balm before using this scrub stick to create a slip, and allow the scrub to easily glide over. Take the scrub stick all over your lips as you would apply lipstick. You don't need to use a lot of pressure when doing this. Then I go over again this time using circular motions, before hugging your lip line. Once I'm done with those steps using the wand, I use my finger to massage the sugary grit in circular motions. If you are going to then take a shower, then wash it off then. Otherwise, I take a damp cloth or cleansing wipe, and wipe it all off. Add your balm, and you're good to go. It honestly takes 2 minutes. I promise you'll notice a difference! So if you love liquid matte lipsticks, but they make you lips look super dry revealing every line, then this is your new best friend! Did I mention it's only $3?!? I have the original one that doesnt have a flavor name, and also the "Coconut" one. I prefer the "Coconut" because I like the smell of it, and the hint of sweet taste it leaves behind. They have several other flavors/scents to choose from.
This loose pigment eyeshadow in "Bring It On" is so beautiful! The super fine powder feels like powdered sugar. Really soft! Easy to press on eyelid or apply with a brush. A little goes a long way, so this container will last a long time! What I like about it is it's buildable, and you can control the shimmer intensity. It's goes on as a soft shimmer. If you want it super shimmery, apply it with your finger or moistened brush. When applied with a dry brush, you can blend it out to a subtle shimmer, and the undertone shows through more, which I love about it! In the pic I posted of the swatch, you can see the two tones I'm talking about. Towards the top it's blended out just a little with a brush to show you the darker undertone is more bold. I know it's looks like The color change is from the curve of my arm & lighting, but it's actually just from softening the edges with a brush on that end. The rest of swatch is packed shimmer, and undertone is muted. If you are getting ready in a hurry, and don't have time to layer eyeshadow, you can press the shimmer all over your lid. Then take a brush and blend the edges which will reveal the brown undertone. I've used it like that, and it really does look like two eyeshadows were used! I like to apply e.l.f. Glitter Primer as a base, and set that before applying pigment. The primer helps with fallout and wear time. BH Cosmetics offers several shades of this pigment, but I feel this color is a great everyday versatile color. As with any loose eyeshadow, it can be messy handling the container. Make sure you have it on a flat sturdy surface when using it. Also recommend placing a piece of paper on the surface underneath. That way if by chance you happen to drop it, you can salvage the powder, and not have a huge mess. Again, this goes for any loose powder you work with, and shouldn't be seen as a negative towards this product.
