I got Udi's Italian Sausage Lasagna at Vons, where it would have cost $5.99 without the coupon. It was easy to make, four minutes in the microwave without any stops to stir or do anything to it, and as expected it came out looking nothing like the picture on the box.
The lasagna is made from rice flour and potato and tapioca starch. The texture gave away that it wasn't regular pasta, but it wasn't bad at all. There was plenty of sausage and ricotta, and the sauce was pleasantly spicy.
Overall, I liked the taste of this frozen dinner. I'd buy it if the amount of fat and especially saturated fat (60% of the daily recommended intake!) wasn't so high, and then only if it was on sale. I think $5.99 is too high for this small meal.
For Christmas 2016 my boyfriend and sister got me the open air Litter Robot for my cat. My sister already had one and loved it. I couldn't get past the pricey cost of $395 but they swore it was so worth the money. THankfully they got it for me, and yes it is worth every penny.
While it does take up a bit of room the item self cleans, and there's no smell (unless you open the waste tray). I've only had it for a week and a half (today is January 4) and I have yet to change the waste bag.
My 9 month old cat took to it after a few hours, and he's been using it ever since.
My finicky cat tolerates this food. Unless he's starving, he won't eat more than 1/2 of the can. I fell for the packaging of this brand (they do an excellent job of marketing) and thought the variety of food would be something my cat would like. I guess its not saucy enough.
