I'm a nerd and a gamer, with a big heart. My passion is in Social Services and I hope that my career takes me to new parts of my country and to other countries throughout the world. I love trying new things, new foods, and exploring. I'm an all out adventure enthusiast.
I love alka-seltzer. My original use for this was pain and cramp relief when I first started my period. It was fast acting and cleared a lot of the bloating I had as a child too. I still like alka-seltzer and will keep some on hand for emergency pain or stomach relief.
I hate the chewables, they're chalky and weird. Even their taste is off. I tried these once as a child and have never gone back. I can't even quite remember if it worked. However, if they have changed these since then I might try them. In particular, I think this is best if you can't swallow the liquid version for whatever reason, but mouth dissolving tablets would be a better idea.
A dream everytime I use these. They just work so well! I never have an issue at removing my makeup with these wipes and I get excited when I know I have eye makeup on and am extremely tired, because I know these are in my bathroom ready to come to my post-party rescue. My only concern is lately I have noticed these leave a bit of an oily residue after I use them, that I didn't notice 5 years ago. If the formula/product was changed I'm not fond of the change but it still works just as well as before.
GREAT fever reducer. Tyleonol is the all-time for fever medication and I love to take this when I have a head-cold or sinus headache/infection. I tjust takes the pain level way down and helps with keeping my sickness at bay. It's not my all time favorite pain medication, but it is great for fever pains and fever reduction. Extra-Strength PM works all night with just one, which is also a good feature.
Advil is great for headaches and fever reduction. I stopped using Advil as my primary pain-reliever, but my boyfriend uses it and it works best for him. Thus, I like to keep it around when I run out of my primary pain relief medication, or if I have a headache or toothache. I do not use this for cramps, or any other period related pain, general body pain, or soreness. Using this for the previously listed pains is pointless because it only dulls the pain, it takes forever to take effect, and I find myself taking more and more throughout the day.
This pain medicine is not my go-to, but is good in a pinch.
All day pain relief is no joke with Aleve. I have sworn by this brand since the age of 15, so for only 9 years but still! When I have cramps, or can feel cramps coming on due to my period I take two of these and I have no doubt in my mind that it will be fine for the rest of the day. I have used this for soreness after exercising and many other pains as well. The only pain I did not use this for was a headache. Aleve works better at blocking the nerve pain throughout your body, particularly in your arms, legs, and various limbs. It does not, apparently however, do well with blocking acute pain. Particularly, headaches, when I take Aleve for a headache it dulls it but does not complete take it away. I typically use Advil or Tylenol for headaches and fever-reduction.
Great team, great access and an abundance of programs. I really liked being at this gym and my personal trainer Clay was awesome. He literally was one of the nicest people I have worked with and truly pushed me and encouraged me. I really enjoyed working with him. I also loved all the different machines and the location in my area there is a girls' fitness area that is much more low-stress and allows me to focus on working out. Plus, this area has some pretty awesome machines in it as well.
That being said I hate their financial system. To cancel it is truly a difficult process and they ensure that they charge you even if you have stopped using their service for months. I couldn't even cancel my membership at the point that my balance was past due. Which makes no sense, because as soon as you pay up you'll be past due AGAIN, and it will continue an endless cycle. I am likely just going to let it go to collections at this point, because although I want to come in and make arrangements I feel like their system is so dirty and flawed that I can't stand to give them anymore of my money. The employees are generally great their financial system is just really wrong and their corporate team needs to fix that. I think it's ridiculous that they don't have an easier way to cancel and manage your membership. Just as I'm writing this review I am remembering the difficulties I faced trying to cancel my membership and the research I put into this company and it makes me think need to lower the rating of this place from 3 to 2 stars.
I LOVE this sunscreen. I have since upgraded to the full size, but I like to keep the travel size on hand. I first fell in love with how easily this sunscreen smooths into my skin. However, what truly sold me on this sunscreen was the fact that I could use it as a primer! I always try to keep a travel size in case I feel I need sunscreen on a hot, sunny Florida day. Or simply because I know it can also be vital to my make-up routine when I'm traveling.
