I received a sample of this and I was so excited because I heard a lot of great things about this foundation. Um. Yea. No. This stuff sucks. I put on my normal primers, moisturizers, etc and this added this with a beauty blender and the first thing I noticed is it didn't stick to my skin well. It balled up and separated in places, however I stuck with it as it seemed to look ok with all my other face products on. Well after about 8 hours I looked in the mirror and it looks bad! Settled into lines and separated on my skin. I use the Estée Lauder double wear and the Lancôme 24 hour and neither did this to me. I will not be purchasing and unless I find some magical way to make this work I can't recommend.
To be fair I just purchased this bit so far I think it's beautiful! It's a pretty light gold highlight that feels very silky (that baked gelee). I noticed that some of the "rays" are super sparkly but it doesn't seem to transfer on the face and may be just an overspray. The packaging is a little cheap feeling but that's ok as I love the product inside. I heard it's different than the original heatwave but I never got that so I can't compare. I will say it's really similar to the guilded honey from Laura Mercier so if you have that you may not need to spend the $50 bucks, but if you are a highlight junkie then I recommend.
Review for Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation SPF 15 - 3 weeks, 5 days ago
So I finally got my hands on this after seeing how many people on YouTube love it and so far I love it too! I'm obsessed with the concealer (see previous review) and I have been using this foundation for about a week. So far it has nice medium coverage and has a semi matte finish on me. It wears really nice and lasts for a long time. I work 12 hour shifts and other than around my mouth and nose being gone (rub a lot so it's common) the foundation stays put on the rest of my face without emphasizing dryness or wrinkles. It doesn't break me out either and so far it's closing in on being one of my favorites!
Review for Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Concealer - 3 weeks, 5 days ago
Wow, just wow! I can't believe how much I love this stuff *kisses and googly eyes*. I received a sample from Sephora and I'm hooked now. This formula is thick but spreads nicely and applies with a damp beauty blender flawlessly. I use it under my eyes and set with the Cover Fx illuminating primer and it. is. beautiful. Lasts all day and stays crease free. Now to be fair I haven't tried it during the summer months yet so it might be too heavy then but right now this is my holy grail!
This is one of the best sunscreens I have ever used! It's lightweight, smells nice and layers under makeup like a dream. I have been purchasing this for years and even though it's pricy it's worth it. I highly recommend.
These are super pretty and easy to work with. I purchased Rose Gold Retro and was really happy with the color and it made a really nice eye topper. The packaging is super sturdy too and the price point is nice. The only complaint I have with this product is once it dries there is fallout. But I do recommend it and will probably purchase more.
Review for Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops - 2 months ago
Omg yes! These are so super amazing and worth every penny! I first got a sample of Moonlight from Sephora and I absolutely love that this has a silvery shift. I apply this with my fingers after my foundation and before my setting powder using quick tapping motions to set. I find this distributes the product and keeps it from moving my foundation. Used as a base for powder highlights will give you a glow from outer space! I purchased Sunlight for a warmer look and will pick up some of the new ones when they launch!
I purchased this set when it came back to Sephora's website (sorry I think it's sold out again). This is such an amazing value! You get the two travel size lipsticks and a full size liner for $24, I think just a full size lipstick is $20. The quality of the lipsticks are amazing! Super thin and light and they both glided on perfectly. Love the color with both and I find both to last just as long as my other brands (i.e. Jeffrey Star). The liner is very creamy too and a very pretty warmed toned color. If this comes back I highly suggest you pick this up or even just try the full size.
Review for SPLENDA® Naturals Stevia Sweetener - 2 months, 2 weeks ago
I generally like Splenda products and am happy that they now have a natural blend that is not heavy with artificial products. I received a few packets in my VoxBox and so I got to try them. I didn't notice any different taste than the original in my drink and so I can't vouch for the no aftertaste however I have. I complaints and I would recommend.
Let me start off my saying I am a highlight junkie and my addiction is real baby! I bought this in the shade Double Gleam and let me tell you, this is one of the best on the market! It is a beautiful light gold color similar to Champagne Pop by Becca but lighter. It no joke melts into the skin and it is so pigmented your cheeks look wet. I love this so much and am so glad it's permanent. Please go to Mac and swatch this then go buy it because trust me it's worth it!
