I will admit I used to be terrified of 3M Command Strips, because I did not believe that the adhesive strip was Just That Easy to remove. All I could figure was, hey, this is something that works for other people, not (klutzes like) me. My conversion moment was this past December, when I was in a wedding and the bride used Command Hooks on the end of the pews to hang wreaths and evergreen garlands without damaging the wood. Like a good bridesmaid, I helped with clean-up afterwards and discovered WOW - these really are amazing, and easy, and why-did-I-ever-fear-this?! Nowadays, I use 3M Command Strips in my kitchen to hang things on cabinetry without leaving nail holes, and also in my master bedroom, where they are stuck inside closet doors to hold my DH's belts.
The key is picking the right size and shape of hook. There are some 3M Command Strips that go with hooks that have a pretty large profile (what I mean is, they stick out from the wall pretty far), and there are others that are more flat. If your hook sticks out too far, it can make your object hang funny, so keep this in mind. My local store also has some brushed nickel hooks that are meant to be seen and just beautiful - I think they would be excellent used in an entryway for jackets and hats! I have also seen waterproof 3M Command Strips used in high-splash areas like bathrooms and showers, too (for holding bath sponges or drip-drying your washcloth), and this is another excellent product.
Nice! Fully Frosted Animal Cookies are a delicious blast from the past that I was really excited to find during my most recent Walgreen's trip. They are a shortbread cookie coated in icing that has a texture similar to melted and hardened chocolate, but with a vanilla flavor instead. The sprinkles on top make every bite wonderfully crunchy! When I buy these, I cannot keep them in the house long, because DH and I both raid the cabinet until they are gone :-)
I love PopTarts, and in my home I tend to eat them more for an indulgent snack or dessert rather than a breakfast because they are so sweet and starchy. Of the fruit flavors, strawberry is definitely my favorite with blueberry in second place. I do not have a toaster, but I like to eat them warmed from the microwave or cold, dunked in warm coffee (I know I am weird, but you gotta try it!). My favorite "other" flavors are chocolate chip and s'mores (both always warm!). I will always have fond memories of PopTarts growing up because my parents never bought them, but my great-aunt always had them on hand and having them for breakfast at her house was a special part of spending the night with her.
Ohhh, I have loved Airheads since middle school, when the Mystery (white) and Blue Raspberry flavors first came on the scene! This candy is a delicious sort of tart, fruity, taffy consistency, and I love the way it melts away on my tongue. Cherry and Blue Raspberry are my favorite go-to flavors, and it is the perfect candy for someone who likes their candy tart, but not necessarily sour.
I have been eating BelVita Breakfast Biscuits for just over a year, and my favorite flavors are blueberry and apple cinnamon. I would describe their consistency as just slightly denser than a graham cracker, and they are delicious dipped in milk or coffee. I like to have a couple of biscuits crumbled along with Greek yogurt and a piece of fresh fruit for a snack or dessert that is healthy but still delicious. I am not much a fan of the chocolate flavor, but if you like Oreos you will probably enjoy them (I just prefer the fruity flavors for breakfast). I do believe and agree that these are a great source of nutritious sustained energy - my grandmother suffers low blood sugar, and I have recommended them to her for something to keep in her purse for the afternoons. She loves them also.
