I love this spray! It's only $6 at Ricky's and it works beautifully! It works just as good as the bumble and bumble surf spray but I LOVE the smell of this one way more. My hair is really long so I like that this is affordable, and even though my hair is naturally curly this leaves them perfect ringlets but SOFT instead of crunchy like most salt sprays.
ELF has definitely stepped up their makeup game, and while they have yet to release many products I would consider worthy of a pro kit, they definitely hit the nail on the head with their HD Powder.
Unlike the MUFE HD Powder which is pure silica, the ELF brand has included a binding polymer which allows it to glide on like silk. The packaging is very poor, but the amount you get is worth every "con"! To solve the mess issue I just cut off a small section of the seal (tape over the holes works too) this helps prevent a lot of waste.
I always apply this with a fan brush or a powder brush, it is the perfect finishing touch to any makeup looks and in pictures (even in HD!) there is NO difference between the MUFE and ELF brand. Someone said it was too "thick" or big but that is not the case, it's a finely milled powder but if you find it not to be so you can always grind it even finer in a grinder or use a mortar and pestle.
I don't get these bad reviews...This is my go to curling mascara, its the ONLY one I ever used that actually curls my lashes without a curler and keeps a curl all day. I don't find the formula thick enough to be clumpy but it does dry really "hard" because of this it doesn't flake and is hard to wash off but it also causes them to fall out easier in my opinion. If you have hard to curl lashes this is definitely worth it and will offer curl without having to use an eyelash curler. I don't think it would be worth the price to anyone else.
I received the Dark Shadows palette which was a mix of white and gray shades. The shades were all loaded with shimmer, the primer goes on great you start to think it's as good as Urban Decay and then it dries to a nice chalk dust like finish. YAY!
I decided to do my own eye look on one eye and theirs(based on the directions on back) on the other eye. Well, I decided to use the white, illuminator, and darkest grey shade for the right eye, the white went on chalky, and the dark grey went on silky smooth (the best quality shadow in the palette) and the illuminator as a highlight in my inner corners and blended in my brow bone. I did the other eye as per their instructions and started to snap pics with my camera...
TERRIBLE! All that shimmer looks a hot mess on camera, in person it looks ok but when following their directions and using ALL the shades at once it looks muddled because the color are just lighter/darker versions of each other and then all the glitter?! It's just bad. I would use the darkest shades with some matte shadows I own for nice grey smokey eyes but only for a night out. There is so much silver and light pink glitter in each shade that it feels like a little girl picked these colors to go together. I definitely wouldn't wear them all at once just one at a time!
These lashes are perfect for beginners, they have a nice thick band which makes them more sturdy for clumsy hands. The applicator tool helps you align them properly to your eye. The latex free glue is perfect if you are allergic to latex but not as durable as regular lash glue. I was mad I had to reapply glue because that NEVER happens. It smells like Elmer's White Glue which is what makeup artists sometimes use to substitute for latex so I am curious to know if that's what it is. The lashes themselves are fantastic though! They are beautiful, 100% human hair, and look extra glam when on!
The pic included shows with no makeup so you can see the eyelashes best! :)
I wouldn't go here for nutrition and training advice, but if you know what you are doing then this is a good basic gym. The highest dumbbell weight at my gym is 15lbs which is disappointing, but it was an awesome gym when I was new. No judgement, all women, basic equipment readily available.
My hair is waist length and very thick and curly. I was worried this wouldn't last ten minutes in my hair but I was pleasantly surprised!
I followed the directions included for the simple bun and it was easier than it looked on the box, it didn't feel very sturdy in there but I slid on a headband and went out for the day. My bun lasted all day, the light pins were not visible in my dark purple hair at all, and it was a really cute and simple style.
The first thing I noticed about this product was it's amazing smell, I used it on my long thick curly hair and it did make them less frizzy but didn't really offer much definition for my curls. I use this on my daughter's hair, 1, and I have noticed her hair has been growing much faster now and I like that I can style her hair without heavy greasy chemicaly products and it's $6 in stores! Can you beat that?! NO!
I used to use this cleanser before I started blogging and trying new stuff all the time, this is my favorite morning cleanser, the citrus is invigorating and it smells really good. If you want more scrubbing power the scrub is really nice and gentle. It lathers very well and keeps my skin clear.
