I have been trying to eat more organic and plant based (very positive results so far!) And this is great for a quick soup base, not to mention I enjoy the taste (not by itself but a soup full of veggies). I get mine at costco which I believe is cheaper than walmart and a better company to support in my opinion. Great value!
These are pricey but soooo good! I've been slowly working toward eliminating junk food and going more organic, with some of the money saved I'll probably get these every now and then, a perfect sweet and salty snack (:
When they say 100% fruit and natural...what about the pesticides? I'm assuming they use them on these because they also have organic raisins...which are delicious and a great snack for my son, me, or anyone really! Still, I like to support a company that does the right thing. Please stop using pesticides! Everyone should have access to safe organic food, not just the people with more money!
I used to always eat smuckers! That changed when I found out they were spending a lot of money to support not letting us know if we're eating gmos! Bad move. I do not want to support a company that's allowing it's customers to be a part of an experiment. The body is the temple. I'll never eat smuckers again! I thank them though, ifit wasn't for them I wouldn't have discovered how awesome local, organic jams and jellies are!!
I used to love Pepperidge Farm products, until I started switching to a less processed and chemical added diet. Now I can almost taste the chemicals, it's weird but you can't understand a difference until you've had different. I bought a loaf of their bread and after a month of not opening it realized it was as fresh and soft as he day I bought it. I kept it around as a little experiment and after 7 months and no change I threw it away. I don't know what they use exactly but that can't be good for your body. From now on I pass on the Pepperidge Farm!
Although I wouldn't say these are good for you, it's definitely a not so guilty pleasure! It's nice to have old favorites minus a lot of the potentially dangerous chemicals to preserve or give color or whatever. Wish they were all organic but definitely better than regular options (from big companies that buy their way into the grocery store).
