My family loves many Progresso canned soups, and I turn to them lots of times to complete sandwich suppers, or simple lunches in a hurry, but one of my real favorites, and staples is Progresso Light Chicken & Dumpling Soup. It sounds like a little like a misnomer, because, how can anything "chicken & dumplings" be "light?" But, therein lies the very reason I love it so much. It is so very satisfying, without being heavy and calorie laden. It's a true "comfort food" and it makes me feel warm and cozy and loved, yet it doesn't over-fill me. It guess what it really is, is "just right!"
Every birthday, anniversary, Father's Day, and Christmas that comes around, my husband expects a Ralph Lauren or Polo shirt of some sort. He has every season, and every type of occasion, from golf to hiking to black tie covered, and still wants more. More colors, designs, styles, you name it, he wants it, and, yes, Ralph Lauren is true to show it in his next season's line! But, who am I to talk, I am exactly the same way, and there's a lot of Ralph Lauren from I can choose! ;)
This banana custard yogurt is so good. It reminds me of my grandmother's banana pudding, so it's a real treat for me. Sometimes I eat it with a banana and a few crackers for a special dessert. OMG, its heavenly! I buy it often, and then look forward to when I'm going to treat myself with it. It's that good!
I buy this every week. I never, ever get tired of the peach flavor and this never fails to save me from eating something too rich that is awful for my dieting needs. I love, love, love Danton Light & Fit Peach Nonfat Yogurt! As a matter of fact, think I'll have some now. You should try it!
Nature Valley Cinnamon Crunchy Granola Bars are what brought me around to granola. I was not even the slightest bit interested in anything about granola, in any way, until my husband convinced me to try these granola bars. I thought everything granola had taste like hay and straw corn husks and dry oatmeal, but, I was wrong. Man, was I wrong! I said, wait a minute, this tastes like a cookie or something! He said that's what I'm trying to tell you! So, I took it away from him, and the rest is history. It is my favorite snack. When I allow myself a snack, I cherish it. I wait until it's time for my snack, and while I wait, I think about that delicious crunch, that sweet, spicy cinnamon flavor, crunchy, falling apart in my mouth, and enjoying every bite of it. Um...umm! They are sooo good, I can hardly believe they're Nature Valley!
These are so darn good, I had to get myself under control. I found myself buying several boxes at a time. And, by several, I mean 6, or 8. Yes, it was ridiculous. I wanted to eat nothing but these Fiber One Blueberry Streusel Bars. Of course, I couldn't eat them just, like a whole box in one afternoon. I mean, you know, well, they ARE Fiber...so, I was in a desperate way. I do love them so much! And, they are not too bad calorie wise... However, I knew I was going to be um... going, and going... too often if I ate too many of them too close together. So, that was when I learned the meaning of REAL willpower. I mean, I'm a grown woman, I knew the meaning of willpower...or I thought I did. But, I didn't. Not until I had to control myself from binge eating Fiber One Blueberry Streusel Bars. That was when I learned real willpower. Ain't no fun, real willpower.

We received this in a gift basket from a friend for Christmas, and because it said sun-dried tomato and basil, my husband wanted to open it first. There were also some good crackers, so at supper time one evening, we sat down to snack on it, and found that it was just delicious! It was so smooth and creamy, and the spices were just the right combination with the creamy mozzarella cheese. We love all the different Laughing Cow cheeses we've ever tried, and this one is one we added to our list!
I make an Italian dish that is from a recipe that I dreamed one night many years ago, and everyone in my family likes it. It doesn't really have a name, but my brother calls it country lasagna, and it does have a lot of mozzarella in it, Sargento Mozzarella. Once, on vacation, I made it, but had to use an off brand of mozzarella, and, it was just not good. No one liked it and I ended up throwing most of it out. I though then, I'll never make my special dish again unless I use my Sargento Mozzarella cheese. It has the very best flavor, it melts right, it's not greasy, or rubbery. It's just perfect!
