This foundation gives beautiful luminous finish and a nice light coverage. It is best suited for those with normal skin because the high alcohol content will emphasize dry or flakey bits, and the luminosity may be too much if you have oily skin.

Review for Essie Gel Couture - 1 month, 1 week ago
By far the best nail polish formula I have EVER tried. I apply two coats of the color on bare nails and let it dry, followed by one coat of the Gel Couture top coat (white bottle). It is 100% worth the price, because my home manicures actually last 5-7 days without any chipping. Typically the nail regrowth causes me to remove them and reapply- not signs of wear/chipping. They remove easily with regular nail polish remover and are much less harmful to your nails than Shellac/Gel nails. Can't recommend these enough!

Review for Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation - 1 month, 2 weeks ago
Yikes! I really wanted to love this because it has so many lovely shades. HOWEVER, this does not blend easily, at all. Even over moisturizing primers, it just kind of grabs on to the skin and blends patchily. Also clings to any and all texture and dry patches. I would call it light to medium coverage. Definitely not for dry/combination dry skin.

Review for NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF30 - 1 month, 2 weeks ago
This might be a great option for someone with perfectly normal or oily skin, however I found that this really attached to every little dry patch on my skin. It offers sheer coverage and feels light. It has a light citrus-y sunscreen scent.

This is an absolutely beautiful primer for someone with normal to dry, dry, or combination skin. It adds extra hydration, luminosity, a smoothing effect (but doesn't feel silicon-y) , and dries down to a slightly tacky feel that helps extend the life of the products over it. I would not recommend for oily skinned gals since it is not mattifying-- try Becca's mattifying/pore perfecting primer instead (in the squeeze tube). It has a pleasant light lemon scent that is not apparent once blended on to the face in case you are highly scent sensitive. All in all, highly recommend!

Review for Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder - 3 months, 3 weeks ago
The matte radiance baked powder in 01 makes a gorgeous, very natural appearing highlight. This won't give you a glittery, straight line but instead gives a very natural sheen that doesn't emphasize textured skin. The shade is a light champagne, with true neutral undertones so it goes with every makeup look. The packaging is a little bulky, but is beautiful. This is my favorite highlighter in my collection!

Review for Kiss Me Heroine Make Long and Curl Mascara N 01.Black 6g - 4 months, 1 week ago
Game changing mascara! This is what I go to for any kind of important event or big day. It adds lots of length and curl (the name is accurate) as well as "blackness" with some volume...but not to the point of clumpiness or taking away that fluttery look. It is insanely waterproof--like survive sleeping, swimming, and a shower-proof and will not budge unless attacked with waterproof remover. A little too difficult to remove for everyday wear, but seriously incredible for a special event if you don't want to wear falsies.

Review for MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Eyes - 6 months, 4 weeks ago
This is the best eyeliner I've tried when it comes to opacity and staying power, even on oily skin/eyelids. These are also great for costume looks (like cat whiskers) because they don't smudge once it dries down and really holds through the day and night. Great product!

Review for Kiehls Heat-Protective Silk Straightening Cream, 150ml - 7 months, 3 weeks ago
So far I have not liked this product! Compared to other similar straightening balm type products, this left my hair feeling kind of dry...and when I applied more it left it feeling sticky. My hair didn't really feel very heat protected either. I'm going to keep working with it and will update my review if I have more luck, but as of now I can't recommend it.

I bought this product after the recommendation from a recent Kathleen Lights video...as silly as that sounds. I have to say, I'm so glad I did though! I apply it to my hair when damp and then either blow dry it or let it air dry. When I straighten it, it feels much softer/smoother, and is overall just easier to iron smooth. My hair no longer "catches" on the iron. It is too early to really tell about preventing split ends and other damage, but my hair feels protected and I definitely don't smell burning. Oh-- and it also smells lovely!
