Sinner is a warm spicy smell, very sexy and more of a nighttime scent. It has notes of patchouli, wood and cinnamon, layered on a vanilla base. The spicy hint of cinnamon makes it very sultry while the floral notes bring out the sweetness of it. Although this is not the typical type of scent I go for, I actually quite liked it but I don’t know if I could stand the smell on me for a long period of time. You have to prefer more dark and warm perfumes to be able to wear this all day, and if you do then you will no doubt love Sinner.
Saint is sweet floral smell, very flirty and more of a daytime scent. It has notes of vanilla, jasmine and musk, which is nice because the musk balances out the sweetness of the vanilla, while the jasmine adds the hint of floral. Personally, I love sweet perfumes so I actually really liked this one, might even have to purchase the full size bottle as I’ve been reaching for it the most. The smell lasted on my clothes all day, but did not have as much lasting power on my skin. If you prefer a soft and fresh perfume I would definitely give this a try.
Shiseido is known for their exceptional sunscreen products and this one is no exception. This is your classic sunscreen for face and body, and is suppose to protect your skin from harmful UVA/UVB rays that age your skin. I tried it on my face and because I’m quite tan right now it made me look a little ghostly by leaving a white cast, so I don’t recommend it as a face product if you’re darker than a medium skin tone. However, on my body it felt really nice and light, without leaving a white residue or looking greasy.
This cleanser is meant to be remove water resistant SPF and long wearing makeup off your skin. I had never used a cleansing oil before this product, mostly because I was scared it would intensify my already oily skin. I am now realizing how wrong I was. The first step in my skincare routine is using the Bioderma Makeup Remover, after that I cleanse my skin with whichever cleanser I’m using at the time. I tried this one for a week, and I found it removed all traces of makeup left on my skin, while leaving it feeling super soft and hydrated. You don’t even need to mosturize after, because that’s how soft and smooth it makes your skin. The other way to use it is in the shower, you can cleanse your whole body with this as it removes strong sunscreen. This product compliments the rest of this range really well.
This product is a beauty balm that combines skin care and makeup into one. It has a SPF rating of 50 and is water resistant for 80 minutes. Also as with most BB’s, it does have an added tint of colour to be the foundation of your makeup look. It’s perfect for beach/pool days, or even just an everyday summer foundation when you’re going for a natural look. The Shiseido Wet Force BB comes in three different tints, light, medium and dark. When I first put on the cream I was surprised at the coverage, it really evened out my skintone and covered all my blemishes. BB creams tend to have very light coverage, but this one really looks like a foundation. The best part is, you don’t need to apply so many products, and the if you don’t get your face wet it will last you all day. The only issue I have with this product is the colour. I used the medium, and it was way too light for my skin. In other BB creams I’ve always been a true medium, so I was a little disappointed at the colouring in the product. I would definitely reccomend picking up a shade darker than you usually would. Because of this I won’t be using it as an everyday product, but defintely would reach for it when I’m having a beach/pool day.
Ok forget that super complicated name, in simpler terms it’s a blurring product that reduces the appearance of pores, while making your skin smooth and producing less oil throughout the day. And coming from a person with oily skin, I can honestly say it does all three. I’ve been using it everyday for a week now, my skin looks noticeably smoother which makes my foundation look much more flawless and natural. Not to mention, I don’t have to touch up at all throughout the day anymore. It only takes a tiniest bit on your t-zone too, to create a smooth canvas for your makeup. If you have oily skin, I recommend this product 10/10!!
The purpose of this serum is to slow down signs of aging (wrinkles, fine lines, etc.), so with that being said you usually don’t expect short term results with anti-aging products!!! The whole point of them is to save your skin over a long period of time, and your early 20’s is the best time to start because they work as preventative products. Now onto the product itself, first off I am obsessed with the scent – to the point where I will repurchase it just for that reason. Obviously you will not see the results of the anti-aging treatment right away, but what I have noticed in the span of a week... is my dark spots fading and my skin looking brighter. I can only imagine the results over the next few months. It is a little pricey at $79CAD for a bottle, but hey cheaper than a facelift right?
Before I bought this product, my skin was breaking out A LOT, on my chin, forehead, cheeks. I tried so many spot treatments and different cleansers, yet nothing seemed to work so I was getting really frustrated. Right away you notice the difference in the texture of your skin. After 1 month of using the Luna, I was definitely breaking out less. After 3 months, I hardly had any pimples on my biggest problem areas. I would only have minimal breakouts when mother nature would decide to grace me with her presence. After 6 months, my skin looked so nice and smooth, my foundation would look so flawless. My coworker was so impressed, she even went and bought for herself and her husband haha! So like I said if you do end up buying this don’t expect a drastic change right away. It takes time for your skin to transform, I’ve been using mine for over a year and a half now and refuse to start my day or go to sleep before using it. You barely have to charge it. I’m not exaggerating when I say this but you literally have to charge it once every 4 months for ONE HOUR.
