This place is like a nicer Denny's. The food is not exciting, but it is delicious. I find that value to be 'ok' and the service to be a little.. weird. If an employee walks past and you ask for a coffee refill, they have this complicated rule system that only your EXACT server can help you.. so a bus person or another server will just tell you they will let your server know you want something, rather than assist you. I just reflect this in my tip.
It is just a nice place to have a sit down sunday brunch.
While this product does deliver on moisturizing, I did not feel that it offered anything in the way of pore correcting. Notice that they called it correction.. everything looks the same for me. It might be that you need to go through the bottle to see an end result, but I figured I would have seen something?
A pass for me on pore correcting, but a good product for moisturizing.
I have pale skin and wasn't sure if the color would work for me, but was quite surprised! Although it looks quite dark in the bottle, it's got something magical in it that conforms to your skin and soaks right in.
My only reason for knocking off a star is that the prize is a little steep, and that the concealer is not as opaque/coverage as I think many will prefer. It will definitely 'reduce' the look of your blemish, but not 100%.
Definitely get this if you like a natural concealer that has added skincare benefits.
I pick these up at Costco whenever they are in stock.. unfortunately not as often as I would like!
The taste is delicious, and they travel really well for lunches at work or out and about.
The only reasons I had to knock off a star were that they can be kinda pricey when I can't get them at Costco, and also that the drink-hole (what a weird word!) is narrow so you end up sucking on the end of the tin a little.. a weird sensation.
I bought 3 backup sets just to make sure I don't run out for a good-long-while!
Found these on Sephora.com and they are fantastic. They give a nice dewy glow, and I can depend on them to set my makeup for the entire day, and into night. I rarely have to touch up my makeup because of these.
A little tip, I spray a damp beauty-blender with the setting spray and press into my nose-crease to give myself extra setting there. Works like a charm.
You can definitely get away with buying the smallest box of this, it will last you forever.
I had to knock off 1 star because I have fair/pale skin and found that this is a very warm shade of bronzer, therefore did come off a little orange for me. That being said, anyone with deeper skin than me is going to love this, and I don't think it will pull orange on most people.
I purchased the contour stick from Sephora, and loved it so much that I went back and purchased my foundation shade form the same line.
The product applyies really well, and at first you might think that you applied too much or have used up too much of the stick, but you could swipe this all day and not make a dent.
I have blended it using both a beautyblender, and a foundation brush. I felt that the best method was the brush overall, but even better was to use the brush and then go over it once with a beautyblender to 'airbrush' it out.
The finish is gorgeous. Next thing to having naked skin. I wear this daily and feel like it is such a natural light/medium coverage finish that can go anywhere. It is also extremely travel friendly, the cap snaps on very securely and so I have no qualms throwing it in the purse for nose crease touch-ups at the end of work.
I bought this at Sephora because Urban Decay has such a cult following, and I have enjoyed their eyelid primer for years. I 'liked' this one, but have to say I didn't love it. The primer went on a lot like the eyelid primer, where it is a little oily and seperated. The product went over my whole face well, and I didn't feel like I had to use a ton of product. The finish was good, and it held my foundation well. Not much on reducing the appearance of pores, however I didn't feel that was a promise that this product made so I was not too worried about it.
I have fine hair, wavy hair that frizzes up easily if it is humid on the other side of the planet.
I really liked the biosilk serum, and wanted to try out the shampoo. While I think this is a good product, and delivers on what it promises, I also think there are plenty of other 5-star products out there that can do better.
