My dog is a very destructive chewer. She chews through Kongs like it's nobody's business. She can't destroy this ball and it is her favorite toy. It has a lot of little dents in it, but the key to this ball lasting so long is that she can't get a good grip on it because I bought the largest size. If it was smaller, she could probably destroy it like all her other toys. One of the very few things she hasn't been able to rip apart. Will definitely buy another when this one is wore out!
Initially, I liked this product. My dog didn't seem to be destroying it within minutes, which is always a good sign. I came home from work later that night, and she had chewed it in half and her toe was stuck in the hole that comes on the toy. She wasn't hurt or anything, but she couldn't get it off of her toe herself. For dogs that are very destructive, this toy won't stand up to their chewing.
I consider this my holy grail product. I have fine 3B curly hair, and as soon as I went silicone free, I picked up this product to try based on good reviews and availability. I was in love from the start. It has the best slip of any product I have yet to try. It makes detangling in the shower a breeze. It gives me great curl definition and definitely cuts down on the frizzies. I use it as a rinse out or as a leave in. It doesn't weigh my fine hair down, either, which is huge for me seeing as a lot of moisturizing products have that effect. It also has a pleasant odor. Only bad thing I would say about this is that if used as a leave in, it seems to make my scalp a little itchier than usual. It is a bit pricey, but you can find the generic brand at Sally's that is exactly the same. It is called GVP Conditioning Balm.
I really like this product as a co-wash. I have fine 3B curly hair, and frizz is definitely a big problem for me. To get good curl formation, you have to be careful about what products you use. I try to go sulfate-free, and haven't used silicone in my hair for years. I The Suave Naturals conditioners aren't the best for moisturizing your hair, but they are really good at cleaning your roots when gently rubbed into your scalp. My hair doesn't feel like straw after using this product, which is what happens when using a product with high sulfate content, which is used to strip your hair. Would definitely recommend it to other curlies looking to ditch the silicone and sulfate.
