I'm pretty bummed out about these. I was so excited to see they are compostable. They smell clean and fresh unlike other environmentally friendly wipes. However they are extremely weak and flimsy and the product they are soaked in isn't strong enough to clean with. It's not a disinfectant, so not being able to clean is a deal breaker. I have to layer a few together to keep them from tearing while I clean my counter tops and appliances.
This is the only dish soap my family uses. It is JUST as powerful as Dawn and it smells amazing. Seventh Generation is cruelty free and environmentally conscious, and that's a huge deal in my home. It is also very concentrated. I only need a little boy for an entire sink of dishes. I've also used this for Pinterest 'hacks' such as unclogging a toilet and getting lipstick out of a shirt. Worked perfectly for both!
This product does apply well, but be careful not to use too much. A little is better, your skin does have a limit to what it can absorb before the product just sits there. In my experience, however, having extremely oily eyelids, this just doesn't cut it. I have better luck with face primer, then concealer, then powder.
Considering this is a mist and not a full strength perfume, this spray is very strong and long lasting. I have purchased the travel size for years to always keep one in my purse for moments I need a refresher. It layers well with any perfume I may have put on earlier in the day. It has more of a musk type of smell, not fruity, possibly a little floral.
I have chronically oily eyelids and in my 15+ years of wearing eyeliner, I have yet to find one that doesn't budge. This is truly perfect for that. It lasts all day, it applies incredibly easy, and it is a true black. It doesn't diffuse on your skin either. I took a star away because I found out after I purchased the item that Stila is not cruelty free, and in today's day and age, there's really no excuse not to be. Most major beauty brands are cruelty free. I'll finish the tube I have and sadly be back on the prowl for another ride or die eyeliner.
I'll begin by saying, I have chronically dry lips, especially in the winter. I tried this during a rough winter in Ohio. It seemed to be decently effective at first, because it feels like your lips are slippery and protected from the wind and dry air. But when it wears off, your lips aren't any better off than before. In other words, this is a 'constantly reapply' product. The moment you stop using it, your lips go back to feeling thirsty. It doesn't have much of an odor, but if you accidentally taste it, it tastes pretty awful.
The product smells nice and applies smoothly. It does not however 'replenish' anything. I suppose if you already have fairly nourished lips, it wouldn't make a difference, but at that point why are you applying lip balm? It does nothing long-term, and by long-term I mean more than a few minutes.
I received this as a gift. The product smells good and feels alright going on. However, the feeling goes away fairly quickly and there is no conditioning or protection going on. It doesn't moisturize at all and, and after it wore off, my lips felt more dry than they did before.
