Giving this 3 stars because one of my kids loved these and the other kid didn't like this flavor at all. This kid does like some of the flavors though so it was a taste issue rather than a texture issue. I personally liked it and appreciated they were safe to send to school. They are a teeny bit crumbly but not the worst I've seen on the market. I feel the price is a bit steep for what you get so I only purchase these if there is a really good sale (and I usually get a different flavor)
I'm giving this three stars because these are not a healthy snack for kids, despite the fact that they are marketed to look like they might be because they contain fruit (which is really just sugary fruit flavours). That being said, if you are looking for a treat for your kids and you don't care about whether the snack is healthy or not, these are great! They don't stick to teeth like other brands we've tried, and they're very tasty. My kids love them, even though they are not allowed to have them very often.
JCrew carries some really cute stuff, but honestly I don't think that their clothes are worth the markup. The quality seems to be about the same as some of the stuff that I have seen in cheaper fast fashion stores. I think JCrew is having a bit of an identity crisis and needs to decide whether it wants to truly be high-end (providing better quality), or budget friendly.
I enjoy Nordstrom better than a lot of other high end department stores because they actually carry stylish stuff (some of it looking as if it is very well made) at relatively affordable prices. Because I tend to be more on a budget, I still get that lux experience of shopping in a high-end store but I actually can buy something here. I also think they have great sales too (especially the anniversary sale).
I love Amazon Prime! So convenient to have diapers shipped free to my door for better prices than if I were to go to a store. The only thing I would caution against is that if you have Prime, it's really easy to get sucked in and spend too much because it is so convenient.
Ok, I think this store is obnoxious and a money-hole for parents. HOWEVER, they do a really good job of marketing to their target audience (girls ages 7-13ish). My daughter is obsessed and begs to go to Claires first thing every time we are at the mall. There are lots of items there that are perfect for her.
Prices are a little high for what the clothing is worth, but I hear that JCrew is fixing this and making it a little more affordable (I hope this is true). I have many items I have picked up from JCrew at the thrift store (fave place to shop!) and the fit and look of every item I've ever bought has been good. I also appreciate that JCrew carries petite sizes for us shorter girls :)
I own two Fossil handbags (one red and one green) and they're both excellent. They are of great quality and I really love the vintage look/feel/patina of them. If you want something relatively affordable (compared to higher end brands) that is well made and will last, I would recommend a Fossil bag!
Really bummed we don't have Ulta stores in Canada. They carry a lot of products (Tarte Shape Tape) that we can't get over here unless we order it. I also think they have great sales, and it's a one stop shop for both drugstore and high end makeup, which I like.
