Who loves to go to beach? I do!!! One of the great things about living in the Caribbean is the beach. Of course it is so important to stay protected especially around this time of year. My skin is super sensitive so there are few products I can use without breaking out in hives. Thank you Coola!!!
I love my tea! Peppermint tea has always been my favourite. I love to drink it especially at night. It helps calm and soothes me especially this caffeine free type. It’s rich and natural. I drink it straight, just water and the tea bag. Some may think that tea increases their heat but after that brief moment of heat, the body cools down.
One of my favourite nuts to eat. Walnuts are high in omega 3 which is an essential fatty acid. I love to eat walnuts year round but sometimes I need a little extra omega 3 when my dry scalp and skin acts up. It’s important to be consistent. I’m sometimes guilty of lapsing because of various circumstances but I try to get back right there again. I love to put walnuts in salads, cereal, yogurt parfaits etc.
It is extremely important to get vitamins from natural sources as much as possible. This is my favourite brand of orange juice. It’s rich and 100% juice. I like to have a glass every morning. Vitamin C is not just essential to your immune system but also your skin. I always feel better when I get my vitamins in consistently and my skin is much better.
An air condition unit definitely comes in handy with the heat. I use a unit distributed by Amana and this was the closest I could find. When I’m at home during the day and it gets too warm especially when I cook, I put on the unit for awhile to help cool the apartment. It’s so important to stay cool during this time especially if you have dry and sensitive skin like me.
So I can’t find the exact brand I use here but a glass bottle is definitely my go-to for filling up water. I always try to choose glass over plastic when I can and that goes for my water bottle. These days are so warm and it is so easy to be dehydrated. A glass bottle is the safest and cost effective way to drink up. You can fill your water from home and glass is better with the heat as opposed to plastic which is bad for you and the environment.
