Welcome to my journey into the world of beauty products. Back in the days of high school I was obsessed with my Urban Decay Asphyxia eye shadow and black eye liner, the look of my goth-punk days. For years I lost interest in make up, and didn't put too much thought into the skin care products I chose.
Today I'm in my early 30's with a new found obsession for more than just that beautiful purple eye shadow. Not sure what or who inspired me exactly, but addiction is real.
After using Guerlain products for almost a year, mainly the Abeille Royale line, I decided to upgrade my eye cream to the Orchidee line. It's a heavier cream compared to the light, almost gel like Abeille eye cream, but it still absorbs nicely. It doesn't seem to be scented like the other face creams in the Orchidee line, I'm assuming to protect the delicate skin of the eye and lip contour areas. It makes my skin feel as soft as a baby's bottom. I'm 33 and don't yet have wrinkles, so I can't speak on it's power to reduce wrinkles, but I believe it will help maintain my skin's youthful appearance for longer if used consistently. I love Guerlain, it will be my life long skin care brand.
One of my favorite scents is lavender and I love to take bubble baths, so this product is a winner to me. You don't need much to create a good amount of bubbles. The bottle is large and long lasting. I would definitely buy this product again.
This was one of the first Lush products I tried. It's what made me fall in love with the brand. Yes other brands sell bath bombs, but not of this quality or size. It feels good knowing their ingredients are natural and won't irritate or dry out my skin, nor harm the environment. I don't use these often as they are not cheap, but infrequent use makes them that much more of a special treat.
I just purchased this at TJ Maxx for $50, after first sampling at Ulta. So glad I came upon it at TJ Maxx as the bottle is $98 and the rollerduo is $27 at Ulta. Anyway, the scent is lovely. It's not straight up rose, there are fruity notes in there, but the rose is the star. It's sweet, but not overwhelming. I tend to prefer more complex perfumes, such as Guerlain Shalimar, but for the price this will do. A nice spring and summer scent. My only complaint is the lasting power. It fades quickly unless you spray more than once.
So I do like the idea behind this product and the smell is nice. The reason I stopped using it and am hesitant to use any Johnson & Johnson product was an article I read suggesting they contain unsafe, possibly cancerous ingredients. I can't say how accurate the article was, but just the idea of anything unsafe being used on my child turned me off. There are other brands out there with more natural formulas.
Not bad, but not great. The smell is amazing, especially if you are a fan of roses. It didn't allow me to comb my hair with as much ease as I like and it didn't leave my hair feeling that moisturized after rinsing. I would buy the shampoo, but would probably pass on the conditioner.
I love this conditioner. Leaves my hair feeling quenched, soft, and silky. The smell is decent. Would definitely re-purchase. I may even try the level 3 recovery conditioner as my hair tends to be on the dry side.
I honestly wasn't a fan of this conditioner. It made my hair feel waxy, and hard to comb through. Having thick curly hair I rely on a good conditioner to comb my hair with. The smell was great however. I would not purchase again.
I can't say much as I've only used this product a couple times. It felt abrasive, but gentle enough to not irritate my skin. The pore minimizer is great in theory, but after only using a couple times I didn't notice any changes. I didn't pay for this, received it as a sample from my consultant. May use it again, but I have a Dior sugar scrub that I'm in love with.
