Chicago performer, podcaster, co-founder of Wheel Tree Press, indie game designer and host of Cinema Supercollider. I'm a subscription box addict, avid knitter, let's play enthusiast and unrepentant cat lady. I love most things slightly and somewhat nerdy.
I highly recommend this product. Dove makes really great stuff, especially for a drugstore brand. The scent is light and slightly powdery, but not so much that you really notice that it's there. It has great staying power and leaves you dry all day.
Peanut M&Ms are super tasty. I'm a fan of plain as well but I like to pretend that the peanut variety is a better snack because the nuts have protein (it's all candy, it just makes me feel better eating them).
As shaving cream, the product works fine. The gel works up to a fairly decent later and so as a basic product you're getting your money's worth. The blackberry scent, however, is kind of weird and smells nothing like berries. Skip this version and get one of the other scents if you're going to go for this product, they make a bunch of them.
I bought a two pack of these on Amazon to help better keep myself hydrated during the day. I keep one at work and one at home. I'm especially found of the pop top which doubles as a loop that you can hook on to things when you're not actively drinking from the bottle. The top has a safety latch to keep things securely closed which is appreciated since I've been known to accidentally knock over bottles of water on my desk.
I tried out the SOO AE Collagen Essence Mask and found that it did a great job of hydrating my skin. The sheet mask is a bit on the large size, which is good in some respects, because you get lots of coverage, but I also found that I had a hard time keeping it on my chin because the overall weight of the bottom wanted to do its own thing and not stick to me. The after effects left my skin feeling clean, but a little bit tacky. For their price, it's a good deal, though I'm not sure I'd seek them out specifically.
I love La Croix. It's a product that I almost always have on hand at home because I like to drink it instead of soda. The lime flavor is solid workhorse of the La Croix family, but it's probably my least favorite one. It sort of tastes like a very refreshing can of cleaning product, which I'm perfectly willing to drink, but there are much tastier citrus La Croix flavors out there. If you really like lime flavored seltzer, seek out the key lime La Croix which I know is only sold at select locations (Mariano's has it here in Chicago).
Hey, nobody likes taking a lot of supplements to stay healthy, so why swallow a bunch of pills when you can have a little tasty gummy treat to get the same result? These chewable gummies are flavorful and easy to get down, especially if you're not a fan of swallowing pills. They have a nice berry taste and texture that is a bit reminiscent of eating a regular gummy candy. Serving size is two gummies.
One of the things I like best about this product is that it's a large size, which means it will last you a while and it's oftentimes for sale at CostCo, so you can get a good deal on it money-wise as well.
So I'm a super big fan of flavored, unsweetened seltzer water. La Croix has the most variety of flavors of said seltzer waters and I'm pretty sure that the coconut one is the most love or hate flavor of them all.
I love it. But if you're not a coconut fan, this is sort of like drinking a very refreshing can of suntan oil. Again, I love it. But if that last sentence doesn't sound like a thing you would want, maybe skip this one.
Another great use for this particular La Croix because it is such a strong and unique flavor is as a mixer for cocktails. Got a tropical drink you need to add a little fizz to? Try the coconut La Croix in lieu of plain seltzer or a soft drink.
