Review for Boyfriend Billionaire 0.5 oz Eau de Parfum Spray - 9 months, 2 weeks ago

The name and the tag line for this perfume are both ridiculous but at the end of the day, I can get past that. I also don't even know who Kate Walsh is. Again, not important.  As long as she's not a mass murderer, I feel okay buying her perfume lol!
As far as the scent, I find it surprisingly unique for a celebrity fragrance. Something a bit more complex, dark, and mature. Don't get me wrong, I love my sweet scents. I just enjoy having a variety.  The scent consists of top notes: patchouli, amber; middle notes: jasmine, gardenia, orchid, base notes: green, tangerine, bergamot. The patchouli and amber anchor the scent and provide a dark and mature addition while the tangerine and gardenia notes give this a sweet floral drydown.
I should probably mention that I am a big fan of patchouli. With that being said, those that do not care for patchouli or gardenia may not like this fragrance as they are quite prevalent. The sillage is pretty strong so I spray this on a less conspicuous area of my body (my lower abdomen) and at a distance. The lasting power is only so-so which is surprising for the sillage-monster that it is.  Overall, spray sparingly and patchouli/gardenia-lovers like me should give this a go.
Review for Dior Miss Dior Eau De Toilette - 9 months, 2 weeks ago
I love this perfume. I really, really do. This is what comes to mind when I think luxurious French perfume. It smells clean, powerful, and beautiful. I have read the many lamentations of the much-loved Miss Cherie Dior from 2005. I own that perfume as well and can honestly say that I prefer this one. Don't get me wrong, I still like the previous one, but this is the more sophisticated and refined sister. Upon initial spritz I smell something reminiscent of Elizabeth Arden's Sunflowers. Just for like a minute or two. And I'm not a fan of that perfume. After a moment I'm enveloped in a gorgeous patchouli/citrus harmony with a kiss of floral. Not flowery, just a perfect blend of earthy and clean. As the perfume dries down, it becomes a more masculine patchouli scent that could easily be worn by men. Maybe that's why I love this fragrance so much. It's feminine and masculine which keeps me from getting bored. I think this one will be a classic and can see myself wearing this for years to come. Plus it has amazing lasting power especially for a toilette. Well done, Dior.
Review for Montale Sunset Flowers Eau De Parfum - 9 months, 2 weeks ago
Received this as a sample in a sampler pack online. I smell flowers and....celery? I'm not sure what that's all about. I could not make it work and ended up scrubbing it off my arm. Going to have to pass on this one. Cannot recommend. Sorry!!!!!
Review for Montale Paris Chocolate Greedy EDP Spray - 9 months, 2 weeks ago
I was so excited to get my sample in the mail....only to be disappointed. It smells dead on like Cocoa Pebbles cereal and oranges on me. Just that and nothing more. I've been wearing it for maybe twenty minutes and I'm already developing a headache. Just too cloying for me. So sad!
Review for Maybelline Full 'N Soft® Washable Mascara - 9 months, 2 weeks ago

I bought this mascara based on the reviews I had read. Well, hate to say it, I was disappointed. It did not make my lashes full or soft! In fact, I found my lashes to be on the sticky side. Every time I would blink, I could feel my top lashes stick to my bottom ones. Very annoying!!! It also goes on very thin. I like the whole "false eyelash" look, and this was nowhere near it. I had to apply like 3 coats just to get a little more drama. I won't be repurchasing.

Review for Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion - 9 months, 2 weeks ago

I've been using the original formula and like it. I really love champagne-colored e/s colors, so when I heard that Sin was going to be champagne in color, I had to try it out. I REALLY like it! Even more so than the original formula. The shimmer is not overboard. Very subtle but fun. Definitely can be used as a highlighter if you don't feel like putting on a powder e/s. It's a little bit wetter in my opinion which is good for me because my eyelids are dry and this keeps my e/s on. When I go to bed at night, my e/s looks just the way I put it on in the a.m.! It's crazy. I really recommend this product, especially if you have dry skin and need something to make your e/s stay put.

Review for LUSH Cosmetics Sultana of Soap - 9 months, 2 weeks ago
I'm in the vast minority here so maybe I'm just a weirdo or something. :)  I purchased this myself after smelling it in the store. It seemed to be okay so I bought it. But then I tried it in the shower.....different story. It smelled as if the "cream" part of the berries and cream had turned sour. And I never got the "berries" smell. Just soured cream. The little dried fruits kept crumbling in my tub which all I could think of was "oh great. Now I've got to clean my tub even more often!" I threw it away in my trash and then I had to take the trash out because I could still smell it in the bathroom!!! Ick!!!!
So all in all, this soap was not worth it for me.

I'm really liking this face cleanser! I don't mind the smell but I can definitely see where it would be off-putting to people. I wouldn't recommend opening the container and taking a big whiff!  To me it almost smells perfumey. (You can't smell it when the container's closed so don't worry about stinking up your bathroom).
As far as using it goes, I use it after I've removed my makeup with Ultrabland. I take a small blueberry-size pinch of it and just rub it in little circles around my wet face. Some recommend making a paste by adding water in your hands and then applying to your face. I haven't tried that yet but I had read elsewhere that the direct application was easier. I have very dry, sensitive skin and this definitely is working nicely. It doesn't dry me out and my face isn't freaking out. Wonderful! Plus my skin is clean and super soft. Not greasy at all. And I don't smell fishy or anything.

Review for Sun Laboratories Ultra Dark Self Tanning Lotion 8 oz - 9 months, 2 weeks ago
This stuff is amazing! I bought this at Ulta and paid a pretty penny ($48 for an 8oz bottle!!!). What can I say, I was desperate! But based on the reviews from MUA and the SAs at Ulta I felt like I had chosen a winner. I'm not new to self-tanners, I know how to use them but I've never really had great results. This is by far the best I've ever used! I am a NW20/25 and the Very Dark gives me a natural brown tan. No orange. And it seems to last about a week which is great! It has a pleasant cherry almond smell but after a few hours that weird tanner smell kicks in. I just use it before bed so that I don't have to deal with the smell. It has a color guide so you can see how you are applying it. Don't freak out when you first use it....it's the color of chocolate pudding but you won't turn out that color! The color develops almost instantly. My only complaint about this product is that it stains your palms. I've never had to use gloves with other products before because I would just wash my hands frequently while applying and that was that. Since this color develops so fast, there's no way to really avoid it. I still don't use gloves....instead I just make sure when I'm done to use one of my scrubs on my palms. It helps a bit. You still end up with a slight tint to your palms but nothing freakish in my opinion. I would also like to add that I'm not sure if this would work for someone that already is very tan. Since I'm NW25 and it gave me a natural look with the Very Dark formula, I can't imagine it doing much for anyone that's super tan already. That's just my assumption. Most importantly, I read from another reviewer that you can get a big bottle of this for cheap at www.lookingtan.com. An 8oz bottle at Ulta was $48. On this website you can get a 32oz bottle for $40! I will definitely take advantage of that! This product is worth every cent! Highly recommend!
