I have two shades of Essie nail polish. One of them, named (I believe) Penny Talk is a gorgeous metallic copper tone, which is very eye-catching. I don’t recall the other polish’s name, but I believe it was part of the 2018 summer collection. It’s a nice coral-y hue with fine gold sparkles. I love both of these shades. They both last a long time and don’t really chip. I was impressed that the metallic polish didn’t lose any of its shine while it was on my nails, because it is very metallic! I also just love the names of Essie nail polishes. Definitely recommend this brand.
I feel like Marriott hotels can vary in quality a lot. Some are much more luxurious and updated than others. However, though, I don’t think there’s really any bad Marriotts. They always provide reasonably spacious, clean, comfy rooms with everything you could really need from a hotel. Some of their newer or more recently renovated hotels have more contemporary, high-tech room designs with beautiful lobbies, but even the older hotels in the chain are attractive and high-quality.
If you are looking for an exciting, luxurious place to stay, Courtyard isn’t really that. However, Courtyard provides a dependable, consistent, comfortable experience. I feel like their prices are generally good, and you can confidently book one knowing that you’ll have a good stay, which is important. They have all of the most vital amenities, and depending on the specific hotel, often also have pools and fitness centers. I definitely recommend this as one of the best mid-range hotel chain options.
I’ve only used this a couple times. I enjoy it but I’m not in love with it. Like most Bumble And Bumble products, it has pretty packaging. It has a nice, inoffensive scent and a very light texture. This is somewhat expensive, but not ridiculously overpriced. It’s a good product—it makes hair softer, shinier, and just overall better looking, but it doesn’t provide a particularly drastic improvement. So I think it’s good, but not great.
I like this product a lot. It makes my hair very shiny, and I do notice that it’s also a bit sleeker and less frizzy. It smells good and is a very affordable pick. The only problem is that I’ve realized that it’s not great for people like me that have curly hair. The initial smoothing effect is due to the silicones in this product, which weigh curly hair down over time. After using this product for a while, I noticed that my hair wasn’t feeling great. I switched to a product without silicones, and I definitely noticed an improvement. So I would totally recommend this to people with straight or even wavy hair, but for curly hair, I would avoid it.
This is one of my favorite products from Drunk Elephant. It’s clear, with a liquid-gel texture. I use it every night. However, when I first purchased it, I only used it every other night so my skin could get used to it, and I would definitely recommend that other people do the same for the first few weeks, just in case. I love how my skin feels just after I put this on—so smooth and silky! Additionally, I do notice a gradual improvement in my skin texture, leftover acne marks, and redness, which is really important to me. This is absolutely expensive, but I think this is definitely one of Drunk Elephant’s most worth-it products.
I’m going to keep this review pretty short. This face oil is very moisturizing, non-greasy, and absorbs into the face easily. However, it also absolutely is not worth the ridiculous price. I get that this is very high-quality marula oil, and it comes in nice packaging, but the fact still remains that this oil is made up of one single ingredient. It just doesn’t make sense to pay this much for it! It’s great, but it’s just very overpriced.
Review for: Drunk Elephant C-Firma(TM) Day Serum 1 oz, Drunk Elephant C-Firma(TM) Day Serum more...
Of all of the Drunk Elephant products I’ve tried, this one probably wowed me the least. It’s an orangey liquid which I apply in the morning, after washing my face but before any other steps in my routine. I love the airless pump packaging of this product. It feels very sanitary and I appreciate that it will protect the product from oxidization. However, my big issue with this is that it feels a bit sticky and tacky on my skin for a while after application. It’s almost like there’s a film on my face or something, and it just isn’t comfortable. Do you ever have that moment when you can just feel a product on your face, like it’s partially absorbed but not fully, and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to absorb more? I definitely experience that with this. Additionally, I really haven’t noticed a giant difference in my skin while using this product. However, I will qualify that with the fact that I haven’t been using it as frequently as I probably should, because of the stickiness issue. I don’t hate this product at all, but I don’t love it, especially considering the significant price.
I used this product primarily as my night moisturizer for a few months earlier this year, until I ran out. I originally bought this as a daytime moisturizer, but I found that it didn’t absorb into the skin as quickly as I would like. On mornings where I was in a rush, I found that to be a bit of a problem, because it forced me to wait a while before I could apply sunscreen or anything else on top of the moisturizer. So I switched to using it at night, since I found it to be moisturizing enough for nighttime application (I have combination skin). This product has a light gel-cream texture, with no strong scent. I appreciate that Drunk Elephant has committed to eliminating fragrances, dyes, and other harsh ingredients from their products—it makes me feel better about what’s going on my skin! Honestly, I liked this product, but it wasn’t as life-changing as I had expected. The product description plus some early reviews had made me think that this would have a lot of anti-aging, revitalizing, clearing benefits for my skin. I didn’t really notice much of that. This is still a great moisturizer, but for me, it didn’t quite live up to the claims, which made it hard for me to stomach a repurchase, considering this product’s high price. But while I personally wouldn’t purchase this again, I still do think it’s a good product.
