I'm a 30 year old mom to an 8 year old boy, three cats, and a dog. I work with toddlers and young children and am currently working on my Master's Degree in Education with specialization in child development. I'm a hippie at heart, an eco-activist, and pescaterian. I enjoy reading, writing, wine, coffee, planning, scrapbooking, yoga and spending time out-doors. I'm always looking to find new products (especially cruelty-free versions of my favorites).
One of my favorite online and brick and mortar retailers! I don't drive, so it's not very often I actually get to an Old Navy store, but I've never had an issue ordering online. The kids clothes are affordable and last through my son, who isn't always too gentle on his clothing. Woman's sizes seem true to size, with the exception of sports bras and shoes. I would recommend going up at least half a size. I shop Old Navy for the whole family. They usually have some pretty great deals, and add in super cash and you can get a $200 order for under $100.
A great fall favorite. It has a fresh, crisp apple taste with a bit of sweetness. Great to enjoy in moderation, but after about two it can leave an odd taste/ sensation in your mouth. Definitely not a drink to over-do it on, a hard cider hangover is not advised!
I generally don't buy this because a. avocados are one of the worst food to harvest environmentally, and the packaging is also pretty bad on good ol' mother earth. That being said, I'm not perfect and have my lazy days and days where I just crave some guac. This is the only pre-made guacamole that actually tastes good!
I'm not a huge fan of mayo, but I use miracle whip in place of almost any recipe that calls for mayo. I grew up only eating miracle whip, since my father hated mayo as well. It's a great alternative and Kraft is my favorite brand for it. Others can have a slightly weird taste
I use this on almost anything. Cooking or as a dip, from breakfast, lunch and dinner. I love the texture unlike other hot sauces that are watery, it stays on a sandwich or works as a dip for a slice of sub-par pizza.
My fiancé makes an amazing sriacha mayo sauce for ahi-tuna. It's my favorite "special" dinner for birthdays and celebrations!
I work in daycare where we constantly keep track of details, as well as communicate with families with our dry-erase boards. Expo markers last the longest and are the easiest to clean off, even if you don't have the spray! My son also uses them in school, and I only buy expo. We tried a pack of a cheaper brand once, and the whole pack was used up in less than a month~!
Pretty much the only brand of sponge I use. It's what my mom always used, and it's a good quality for the price. The last a decent amount of time if you aren't scrubbing grubby pans too much (I generally will use a stainless steel if a pan is too dirty before using my sponge, to keep the sponge together longer).
Good price, good product, and get the job done. They also have a ton of nice designs, which although it doesn't matter, it's the little things that make the chores go by faster!
Other than my newfound love of Mrs. Myers products, Dawn blue is the only dishwashing liquid I buy. I started purchasing it because they help animals and then also found out I can use it to clean my own pets if I run out of dog soap. My dog has never had a bad reaction and I prefer this to the smell of dog soaps. It's a great price, as well.
Our entire apartment is hardwood floors, and we have pets, so mopping happens a lot. I use a steam mop 1-2 times a week, but my wet jet in between and as needed. This product makes the floor look great and makes the in-between cleaning a breeze!
It is pricey, but if you use it as an in between cleaning method, one bottle of refill can last us a whole month for our apartment, which is once again all hard wood flooring.
