Just a young woman who's in love with exploring and discovering who I am, what I am, what I love and what I'm meant to be...the journey continues! As far as what I like, that's a little bit easier:
Fancy food, fashion, beauty, sports, animals, art, wine (good ones), music, scenery, the City, and some good TV every once in a while.
I use this oil as a post-bath moisturizer. I like the fresh, invigorating scent of the mint that's in it. I use it in combination with the SheaMoisture body scrub. You can find this ar a pretty reasonable price especially at Ulta when they have deals.
Scott tissue has been in my house and family for generations. I grew up using it and now as an adult I can't bring myself to our base anything else. They've always maintained consistent quality and price. I will continue to purchase this brand.
Excellent finishing powder for women of color. Sweeps on very light and airy, not cakey looking. Also great for baking and setting, especially under-eye makeup. Has a soft matte finish but it's not dry.
Normally I love ABH brow products but this one is an exception. I'm not necessarily a fan of the tinted brow gel. I believe the formula is a bit too watery. It's not gel-like at all. The brush isn't tapered so you don't get precision when you're applying it. Also, it transfers off pretty easily so you almost HAVE to use a setting gel. To be honest, I've had better results with the NYX tinted brow mascara. NYX Tinted Brow Mascara
I am enjoying this fragrance for summer. I typically go for heavier, warmer scents. However, this fragrance provides a nice change. It's fresh, light and airy. It's "lemon" without being completely lemony. You get the citrus, but you also get light, grassy notes and a the essence of being in a vineyard. I personally love spraying this in my hair as well as on my body. The summer heat really helps to enhance the citrus notes. Another hit from House Margiela!
I have been using this serum as part of my daytime routine for nearly 1 year now. I use it immediately after toning and before my moisturizer. This serum leaves my skin looking and feeling plump, soft and glowing. It absorbs immediately and it's not too watery or greasy. I like the idea of giving my skin a good dose of Vitamin C before starting my day. I live in crowded, polluted NYC so the addition of VItamin C helps fight against all the environmental pollutants.
Many people say this smells like Dior Poison which I was never a fan of but interestingly I LOVE MMMM...!!!! It's warm, spicy, sweet and gourmand which are the types of scents I'm attracted to. I get complimented on how delicous this smells everytime I wear it. For me, the moment I spray it on it opens up with notes of clove, cinnamon, bergamont and burnt caramel. When it dries down it smells so buttery and sweet. It actually makes me make the sound "mmmm." I'm definitely keeping this one in my scent roation. I really want to give it 5 stars but I take away 1 star because it just doesn't last long enough.
For me this is nothing more than a shiny, greasy lip balm. Nothing special about it and if I wasn't so lazy with returns I definitely would've taken this back. There's no lip-enhancing color, the big blocky packaging is quite useless and I don't know how much Givenchy paid Allure to get on the "Best of Beauty" list but it means absolutely nothing. This is a $34 piece of junk. Save your money!!!
